Remarks

I have applied to various Universities including Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Allahabad University, and DAVV Indore. Also got selected in all of these, but my priority was DU because of its prestigious culture, and Various other benefits like Societies, quality crowd etc. I have availed my EWS quota for admission. The whole Admission process was online due to covid, when cutoffs were released, I applied for Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, in 4th cutoff under EWS quota which was having a cutoff of 87% for b.com prog got admitted in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Being a commerce student I choose B.com prog. The faculty is good enough having a ratio of I think 1:60. Teachers are well qualified with enough experience to spread the knowledge. Exams were little delayed due to the covid and held OBE but still was not that easy as expected.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Being a fresher I am not that aware of the internships and placements of the college. Also, the placement cell of college helps in bringing good companies for good placement opportunities. But still, it depends on the qualities and activeness of student for being selected for good company and higher stipend.

Placement Experience

3

In the last year of the degree, we are eligible for the campus placements but internship has no criteria it can be experienced whenever we want. Talking about B.com prog., this course doesn't have a much higher package, also most of the students opt it with the preparation of any other competitive exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very minimal, like b.com it is approx 10,000 per year which is not that high. Also, various State and National scholarship are applicable, I got one through NSP in which I got the assistance of 30,000 for my fee.

Campus Life

4

Everything is exciting on the campus of Delhi University from fests to Societies. We can participate in various activities through Societies which helps in our overall Personality development. Various Societies, clubs and groups are run by students here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject. The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management, ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable
