Dream comes true-Brainware University, Kolkata

I have applied only to Brainware University after my HS result. I am pursuing Computer science & engineering & Brainware University is best at it. Admission is mainly based on HS result, Madhyamik Result & WBJEE rank. One has to score above 60% in HS. The admission Process was on campus when I got the admission. Previously there was a Merit exam on basis of which & the marks I got in HS, I got admission for B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering.

Computer Science & Engineering is one of the best courses nowadays. Brainware University is one of the best in this field. So I chose this field. Here we have very generous faculties who help us at their best. There are enough faculty in our department & a total of 240 students in our department. Maximum Faculties have a doctorate in their classified fields. They continue their classes as per the college routine even in this online mode. They try their more than best to give us the atmosphere of offline mode. They conduct surprise tests almost after every chapter. Instead of these, we have 2 internals, 1 presentation, end semester exam, Viva, Lab Exam & assignments throughout the semester.

Many renowned companies come to give placements. But this happens after the 5th sem. I'm in the 4th sem so I don't know too many details but they give us proper knowledge of how to crack an interview from the very first.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible to be placed by their skills. But we got our preparation from 1st semester by boot camp, soft skills class, aptitude class. There is a placement cell in our college that helps us to know about placements.

Exam Fees 1200 per semester. For 1st sem to 6th sem 48000 & in 7th semester 41000. The semester fees are very affordable & we can give this throughout the years. There is also a scholarship if one score above 75% in HS can get 50000 worth of scholarship & who scores in 60% to 75% in HS can get 30000 scholarship.

Brainware is not only for studies, it conducts one of the most beautiful annual fests with renowned rock band & college students also perform. Other than this Freshers is very exciting, tech fest, entrepreneurship fest also takes place. We have a tech club, literature club, drama club, etc. We have buildings for different departments & each building have their own library. The central library has almost all books & journals in sufficient numbers. The campus is very large with 4 buildings, canteen, cafe place, sports ground, hostels. The classrooms & labs are well equipped. We have our annual sports also.
