Remarks

Hassle free admission process ..Read prospectuses available before admission. 1 I got admission in the second cutoff with (best 4 subject's marks excluding Hindi ). 2 . OBC quota admission a Lil bit less cutoff than Gen category. 3 . You must be passed 12th from a recognised board and For detailed qualification details read the prospectus.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Mathematical sciences course provide various placement opportunity and this includes science and marketing subjects as well. 4:60 faculty ratio I guess. Well qualified and experienced faculty with a very enhancing teaching method. There are semester based exam scheme and internal exams also, class tests are being taken for improving the subject. And if u study well u can pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many other assistant professors were doing their internship in college. The main staff is very humble and highly educated. The placement cell is very active and always helpful for this. As I am not a placement guy so not able to provide much information about this

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell is very active. As soon as you enter the 5th semester placement companies available and there is placement mela in college so that you can apply for any company or firm of your desire and your qualification. You can get more than 10 lakh PA placement as your ability and depending on your skill and interview. Many students get placement by the college. I am doing UPSC IAS preparations so did not apply for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess is static and exam fees are submitted at exam form submission time. The cost to study is between 10000 to12000. There is an OBC quota scholarship (with govt T&C) I did not apply for an internship. Various state govt provide inspire award that is more than 80000 per session. It can find out on your board site accordingly. For other scholarship, there is an admin office you can reach out to.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible for placements in our third year (so the fifth semester). We can sit for internships before that. Many prestigious companies visit our campus, including McKinsey, HUL, BCG, BlackStone, BlackRock etc. The highest package offered in DU history is from our college (and my course!) which was 48.9 lakh p/a by BlackStone to a student in Batch of 2024. The average package is 10.5 lakh p/a. There were 215 final placement offers. My plans after the degree are to enter the world of finance or consulting, hopefully. I am also open to higher studies or an MBA. Maths H keeps a lot of doors open.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship in the first year or the second year itself, and for the placement, the student can sit in the third year onwards. Students are eligible to sit for placement after having a significantly higher attendance, good score and a great practical resume. as far as I have observed, most of the job offers are around 4 to 5 LPA. There are a number of companies that hire from the college and the students can also apply off campus if they have a good CV. Many small and big companies higher from here, for example ferns and petals, Deloitte, bookMyShow, accenture and many more. The highest, and the lowest packages have not been disclosed clearly, and the percentage of students has also not been declared clearly. As far as I know the placement rate is pretty decent If the person has a good resume, which can be anything around 70 to 80%. My plans after getting the degree are not crystal clear to me, but I plan on doing masters in the same field from a good university, maybe abroad and then make a career ahead. Meanwhile, I also plan on doing several internships to build my resume and learning both hard and soft skills.

The course you and college you get is totally dependant upon your CUET score. If you score well you will get a very good college with your preferred course, which makes your upcoming 3/4 yrs golden. There is no need of improvement in teaching but yet the course demands few changes to make it more flexible for students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like this course as it's a multidisciplinary course that opens a wide variety of fields for me to pursue and choose my interest.I choose these course on the suggestion of my senior and some google searches. I believe while our curriculum provides a strong base for botany, zoology and chemistry there are areas too where it can be improved: Strengths: 1.Solid theoretical foundation. 2.Laboratories experience 3.Research opportunities Areas for Improvement: 1.More integration of interdisciplinary subjects 2.More empathy on practical skills rather than theoretical 3.Make better suited for industries Teaching methods can be improved by Active learning approach and Real world case studies In this course u will have internal exams before every sem and 2 sem exams every year and its not that much difficult
