Remarks

Admission process is not very critical. After get the 12th result you can to to the college for admission.The good aspect is the placement records, It is quite good then any other private college around kolkata. After talking with pass out students i can understand that they are very serious about study and very diciplened. you can also visit the site www.uem.edu.in

Course Curriculum Overview

I am a CSE student and the future is depend on coodings, so i chose this course.Faculty are very helpful and well experienced. Almost every faculty are done PHD and some of them are still doing. Here, the teaching methods are also very good and advanced. Exam timing is also perfect. To pass those exams is also easy if you do the classes on regular basis.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. many reputated companies specially IT companies are came to recruit students like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZENT etc. 80-85% students are get jobs every year and the average salary is almost 3-4.5 LPA. I want to do higher study after geting the B.Tech degree.

College Events

URECORN, ESTESIA, MUN etc are one of the top fest and tech fest of our university. Students and teachers are participate in those events and we both enjoyed a lot. Plenty of books in our library and it is also too beautiful.We have a popular cricket team, football team & basketball team and we won many trophies in those events.Campus 24 is an app which is made by seniors and we run that app.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-. College review

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort.
