Remarks
When I was opting for Keshav Mahavidyalaya the best aspect was Keshav Mahavidyalaya is heavy on academics apart from extracurricular. Among colleges of Delhi University, it ranks really very well in the science department. The bad aspect of Keshav Mahavidyalaya is it lacks a campus experience as it is an off campus college. Moreover, the fest conducted at Keshav Mahavidyalaya is not that good because of the lack of budget and a person usually misses a good campus experience. The admission process is similar to other Delhi university college if you have scored above the cutoff you can go to college and verify your documents. The reason for preferring this college was that it ranks good among the Delhi university colleges and apart of acads it also focuses on extracurricular activities i.e societies like vagmita, shades, etc are very well known in Delhi university circuit. I read The reviews on getmyni and collegedunia for selecting a college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The prime reason to join this course was it includes operational research, computer science, mathematics and one can get a job as a data analyst from it. It also helps a person to go into the field of actuarial science. Faculty student ratio is generally 1:45 and faculty usually focuses on students growth. Qualification of 75-80 percent of the teacher is a doctorate and others have done msc or mcom the faculty is learned and the teaching pedagogy is also good as they take presentation, projects and other assignments for development It's an easy task to pass the exam but to score well you have to study regularly
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester, students are eligible for the campus placements and the campus placement is average as 50-60 percent of the batch get placement and other people go for the masters such as Msc OR from delhi university itself. Companies like Gartner, Sharekhan etc come to the campus. I'm heading towards pursuing MBA in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
One can complete her graduation in 30k. Generally, college doesn't have a fees hike College also has some scholarship and financial aid to the EWS students r students who need and are scholars can apply for the same It has a girl's hostel.
Campus Life
Annual fest name is tryst and it usually happens in March end and attract around 1000 students across Delhi University. All the books required for the semester is available in the Library and the library has a lot of books if you can't afford the books. The classroom and campus are clean and just awesome as the building is just 13 yrs old and the campus supports greenery. The college had various sports like basketball, football, ball badminton and various other sports. College holds clubs like enacts , Rotaract, women development etc
