PGDM at MDI Gurgaon

1-Brand Name of MDI Gurgaon in the league of other BSchools is quite good. 2-The location in the center of Gurgaon with close proximity to corporates is a big advantage when it comes to placements 3-Academics is pretty chill out here with not much efforts required to clear the exams 4-The peer group is also quite good

I had this as my best convert. I did not want to go for an HR course. International Course too was not much attractive. PGDM is the flagship course and I wanted to specialize in Operations management. Hence I took this course. Students to Faculty ratio lies somewhere around 40:1. Exams are held timely but results are never declared on time. Easy to pass as most of the faculties gives the same question paper over a period of years. Students have their solved question bank to refer to one night before exams

All students get on campus offers There were close to 90 companies for 240 students Profiles across domains like marketing sales operations and finance is offered to students. Projects depend in the role offered during the selection

Summer Placements happen in the 2nd trimester while final placements happen in the 6th trimester 120 companies visited for 240 students Highest Pay-44 lakhs Avg pay-25 lakhs 100% placements I will be joining my on-campus offer with a leading consulting firm

The fees are on the higher side 21.34 lakhs. During covid also, the college did not reduce student activities fees as none of the activities were given many funds. I availed 2 scholarships worth 10 lakh rupees. ABG-AWOO of 8 lakhs and IDFC First of 2 lakhs. My summer internship with Amazon fetched me a 2.8 lakhs stipend

The library is good, although no one visits it apart from phd students Classrooms are digitalized now There is a sports club which facilitates sports like Cricket Football Basketball Badminton Tennis Carrom Poker

Poor quality of rooms and furniture Meals are mostly good initially but then the standard goes down The registration process is on the day of arrival. It is mandatory to have hostel accomodation due to weird timings of activities

The topic of GD was- Should India spend more on Defence programs or Social Security Programs There was a WAT prior to GD on the same topic. Post that interview was conducted Preparation generally comprised of reading newspapers to stay updated on the current trends
