XLRI's Delhi-NCR Campus

XLRI's brand value was the primary reason for choosing it. Moreover, the common placement- both finals and summers-was a cherry on the top. This, being in the vicinity of the capital along with the brand of xlri, will be in the top 6 colleges in a few years' time. This would make it ahead of MDI which was my other choice. The culture of XLRI always impressed me even before joining it as my friends, seniors are its alumni. Heard great things about the curriculum, faculty, the 3 batch culture, alumni association. The admission process for both the campuses of XLRI is common, that is through XAT-Xavier Aptitude Test and the cutoff was common for both the colleges. I consulted with my mentors at Career Launcher and at TIME along with many XLRI seniors before zeroing in on this choice. Detailed discussions with them along with my own research helped a lot in arriving at the decision.

All the faculty are of XLRI Jamshedpur and therefore, are excellent. Professor Gaurav Vallabh (who is now a permanent faculty of XLRI Delhi-NCR) is my favorite. XLRI follows a continuous evaluation process with multiple quizzes, midterms, assignments, and end terms.

The placements of our college are together for both the campuses of XLRI. The recently concluded Summer placements have been excellent and the students have received a lot of diverse profiles. The applications of JPMC (Markets vertical) and Accenture Strategy were opened to our campus and these are the roles that either do not visit IIM Indore, Kozhikode, and FMS, etc or are rare visitors there.

The fee is approximately 25 lacs for 2 years and getting a loan is a cakewalk. XLRI Delhi-NCR is in the Top league list of SBI's scholar loan scheme along with IIM-A,B, C,L, K,I, and XLRI Jamshedpur and we are offered a 40 lac loan without any collateral or co-borrower.

There are numerous fests throughout the year like the MAXI fair, Ensemble Valhalla, and the fests by the various committees like Axiom, Finax, etc.

GD topic- who are better entrepreuners? Engineers or Doctors? The interview was primarily about Why MBA and follow-up questions and a few Statistics questions. The interview lasted about 30 mins with a panel of 3 interviewers. They asked for my file containing all my documents before the interview
