Remarks

I think if you want to do bachelors in commerce, going for a DU College is the best thing that you can do to yourself. Not only it is cheap, but you get to enjoy the so-called DU life that mostly every student in Delhi is craving for or has craved for and

Entrance Preview

I got 90% marks in my 12th grade exams and since I belong to general category, I got the admission as my marks were on dot with the cut off of that year i.e 90%.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was short and easy which covered various commerce aspects. It included subjects such as Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Taxation & Auditing, Elective Language, Business Management, etc.

Internships Opportunities

NO internship is offered. You have do your jazz and look for an internship for yourself. Also, there are many websites which provide students with placement assistance so you can always get in touch with those websites.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placement cell is just at its initial stage so no high expectations. But I have heard that DELL and many other MNCs are looking forward to hire students from the college in future.

College Events

3.5

Though the first two years of college fest were DULL, the third was a shocking one as BOHEMIA came at the annual fest which made the fest GRANDD. Maybe that was because ABVP came into power after quite a long period.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a DU College, they charge a very nominal fees from the students which in my case was 6,000 an year on an average for three years. Contrary to it, an IP University College charges anywhere between 60K-1L from students for BBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since they charge a very nominal fees, I dont think that there is any need of scholarship / loan facility to be offered to the students.

Campus Life

3

Unlike my school life, I was not much into extra co-curricular activities during my grad life but the college has got acres of space and is going through renovation phase.

Hostel Facilities

2

No hostel facilities are provided by the college and the mess food is getting better every year with authorities getting more serious about it.

Alumni/Alumna

I had a very less interaction with my seniors and alumni but actor Rajkumar Rao, Roadies participant Suchit are among some of the college's famous alumni.

Exam Structure

Semester system is followed which means you would have to go through final examinations twice a year. But since the subjects covered in the semester are less i.e 4, it does not create much of a problem.

Faculty

3

The faculty was somewhat like as you find in other DU colleges. But unlike what people confessed about teachers being laid back and uninterested earlier, I found that most of the teachers were professional and took their jobs seriously.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
