MDI Gurgaon, Best B-School

I wanted to do an MBA from a very good college. I was able to convert the several IIMs, IIFT and MDI Gurgaon. Considering various parameters I found that MDI has the following things. Very good placements, High NIRF Ranking, Brand Name, Campus is nice, Near Gurgaon, High Rated Faculty, Great Alumni Network, Exchange program. All this factors helped me chose MDI Over others.

The course curriculum is fine-tuned. Each session is curated for the practical scenario. We are pushed to think out of the box. Books and Cases are awesome and give applied learning of way. Professor is nice and awesome. Always motivated to ask questions and discuss a lot. Best faculty ever.

At MDI companies come from every area like for Consulting related role some major players like BCG, Deloitte, Mckinsey, PWC etc came. For Finance, players like Goldman Sachs, JPMC, Bank of America, Langham Capital, Avendus, Axis Bank, etc came. For marketing, players like ITC, HUL, Godrej, RB, Johnson and Johnson, Eli and Lilly, etc came. Also, players like Amazon, Flipkart, Oyo, MagicBricks, Make my Trip, PayTm, etc also came. The roles offered are great and pay packages are top-notch.

Placements are great in MDI Gurgaon. Students get roles for both Summer Internship and Final Placements in best role available. Many people are placed in consulting, IB, and marketing role. All the industry leaders come at the MDI campus and offer great roles. The pay packages received are over Rs 20 lakhs for finals. Also, most people received over Rs 2 lakhs as a stipend for their summer internship and got a PPO from the same company. So, the placements are really good.

For my PGPM 20-22, fees were 21.5 lakhs of this about 16 lakhs went into tuition fees. Rest 5.5 lakhs in a hostel, food, reading material etc. We have many scholarships, which are need-based. However, there are some more criteria and they are merit-based.

I am attending the classes online from my home. However, I have been to campus and I must say it's awesome. I hear a lot of stories from my seniors, and they have a party every week at a minimum. The social life is great, There are many clubs to be part of. There are many academic clubs like for economics, finance, Consulting, operations, information management etc. There are many event clubs including TedX. So there are ample opportunities that are available.

CAT is required as the sole entrance test. I got 97.33 percentile and received a GD-PI-WAT call from MDI. My past acads are 93.1/95.4/75.61 for 10th/12th/UG respectively. I was a fresher with my UG background is of economics. GD and WAT on the same topic - Role of educational institution in raising leaders or political people. Then interview of about 20 mins happened. The interview went in great detail and depth. Very advanced and research-based interaction happened. I was able to answer all questions because I read a lot of research paper in economics. I converted in the first list. I feel great to be with individuals who got 99.9 percentile. I feel privileged to have a company with them.
