Remarks

Placements in DCAC are pretty decent. The students of the flagship course B.Com(Hons) are among the most placed candidates. Placement drives are conducted by DU centrally in which the students of DCAC have a little advantage due to the high cut off of the college (nearly 96%). The bad aspect according to me is the infrastructure of the college, it's not good and the campus is also quite small. The admission procedure is quite easy. Get your documents verified after you met the cut-off, pay the fee, and it's done. The faculty here is good, even some of them are academic book writers which we study generally.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

B.Com Hons is the flagship course of the DU. It's cut off are sky touching that why the course is most valued among all others. Also, B.Com Hons has the most updated and advanced curriculum divided into six semesters with about 25 different subjects. The faculty and teaching style is good. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Many teachers in our college have done PhD and are authors of various study books we read. Placements in DCAC are pretty decent. Placements drive is conducted centrally by DU where students of DCAC get an advantage due to the reputation of the college due to its high cut off (nearly 96%).

Placement Experience

4

Placements are decent, and nearly 60 % of the students recruit from campus placements. They judge you on the basis of 3 rounds in total. The first is a written exam, the second is the GD round, and the third is a personal interview round. I have about the placements drives they are good. The average package goes around 3-4 lacs p.a with few exceptions too that may extend to 7-8 lacs and beyond. There are also many students who move to some other professional course or degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of B.Com Hons is nearly around 9000 (most probably less than it). Various organizations do provide scholarships from time to time for which the applicant needs to stay alert and apply quickly as the number may be limited. College authorities themselves do not provide any scholarships or concessions. Students get other benefits like we may get bus passes at a very subsidized rate. For financial assistance, one needs to look for the various organizations which provide such services and benefits. Students might also join various internships which mostly are unpaid initially but they may pay after some time after you gain some experience.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure of the college is not that great but it is just ok. Though situated in South Delhi college building is quite old and unattractive. Only the library of the college is good and has all the required books and materials. The canteen of college decent enough and prices of food items are subsidized. Classrooms are standard, but there are no air-conditioners for students. The most amazing thing about college is campus life. Students from all the backgrounds and facets come that's what makes campus amazing for us, its like hotspots of diversity.

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
