Remarks
after all the experience was amazing and the college was also very good i really appreciate all the members and their hard work for our growth and progress.
Course Curriculum Overview
The students have opt the same combination of subjects in all the three years. we had choices to study Economics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Sociology, Psychology etc. For the first two years, we have to attempt 12 exams in all, with one discipline-specific subject and other papers each in every semester.
Placement Experience
YES, college does provide placements many of my colleagues got Placements and one of them was in E-Cell 'Saksham' which was quite efficient in providing both placements and internships for the students. The average package offered by the companies is 3-4 Lakhs per annum
College Events
There were many events that were celebrated very amazingly like international women's day, sports day, cultural events and cultural fest and republic day and independence day, founder's day. all the events were well very organised and it was a good level many students participate in different kinds of activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in my opinion is feasible because a course like bachelor of arts is very much expensive in other colleges but in Du it's affordable one can easily afford to pay the fees, it depends up to the students how they want to make the payment as yearly fees is divided into various parts to make it more affordable to the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Candidates who are pursuing undergraduate courses and wish to apply for the following scholarships must download and submit the application of the DU Scholarship online form to the scholarship cell. 1st year in U.G.
Campus Life
The campus life was very good and the gender ratio was almost equal in the college. There were workshops and cultural societies as well, there was no discrimination on any basis. Everything was cool and calm at that time. We all studied together and happily spent our time.
Hostel Facilities
no, but DU do provide hostel facility but hostel seats in Delhi University colleges are limited and DU hostels are allotted to students on the basis of merit only. Students are informed that admission in a particular DU college does not guarantee hostel accommodation. among total of the seats 15% seats are reserved for SC students. 7½% seats are reserved for ST students.
Alumni/Alumna
yes the seniors were very helpful and useful for all of us they always treats us with respectful there no hard rules for anyone in the college
Admission
DU admission is both merit and entrance-based. I got admission on merit as my course was BA (Honors). The process was very simple one just have to carry the mark sheet and look for cut off list if your percentage matches with the current cut off list so u can simply take admission.
Faculty
The college had good infrastructure and excellent faculty members. In all Total 3 periods Lectures which had two periods from which one is for Class presentation and two weeks for project work or trip-related activity as per the teacher's instructions.
