Remarks

One of the best private college in West Bengal and is famous for the biotechnology department.Also placement is good.Actually i love biology and i want to explore the subject so i decided to join that course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Though the college is autonomous so syllabus is well organized which is helpful for competitive exams also.Faculties are experienced and qualified and most of them are helpful.There are 8semesters and in each semester you have to learn different courses.

Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Honestly in our BT department, TCS is the mass recruiter and around 40 students out of 60 are placed. very few core companies like R and D solutions, NestlŽ etc visit our campus but they recruit only 5 6 students.Many students go for higher studies also.Our department is famous for notable alumnus.

College Events

Every department publish magazines.Apart from that eclecia, fresher's welcome,tech fest are the kost important events. Each department also arranges very informative seminars for students.College has different clubs for different extracurricular activities and students can join the respective clubs and participation provides extra credit points.

Campus Life

Campus is very nice,well decorated and spacious with a big playground, basketball court etc. The college also provides wifi facility. Library is very big and most of the academic books are available there along with journals, storybook etc.They also provide e-library facility.labs are well equipped here and lab assistants are helpful.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.
