Remarks

I want to do Phd in Biology and in Biology amy particular interest is in Astrobiology and if you want to go for Phd in astrobiology then you will need good CPI, recommendation and degree from a good university and for that IISER Mohali is best and that's why I choose IISER Mohali for my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are top notch who are having their phd and post docs from worlds best univerities. All faculties who are working here and teaching students are researchers means scientists working on a particular field. All faculties have their individual office and labs. Faculties are very nice in behaviour.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 66800 per year

Placement Experience

Job opportunities for students are lot after their BS-MS. Students go for Phds, government jobs like for UPSC, teaching post, lecturers, industrial jobs and some also go for MBA after their MS but IISER Mohali doesnot have any placement cell in the college.

College Events

Three main large events organized in IISER Mohali are INSOMNIA, Foundation Day and Inter and Intra IISER Sports event. Along with that many festivals and small events are celebrated in the college. In organising fun activities clubs of college are very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thought our session has been extended but the college must provide an academic calendars according to which they work but they don't have that . Student from another states which are far apart they face problem every time when they have to go home . College must check and correct these demerits.

Placement Experience:

On a serious note, if you choose this course, you cannot expect employment opportunities after graduation. You have to do a master's and then you can think of a lectureship or a laboratory assistant. For higher studies, you can pursue a PhD and go in the research field. But the course is not as easy as it seems, the path is very struggling and often you face failure. After the recent NMC update, the non-medical teaching staffs are limited which makes the pursuing of this course very questionable. but there are alternative course and job opportunities after graduation in other life sciences subjects. Rest, the college doesn't provide any internship in this course. You are entirely on your own risk and decisions when you enrol for this course.

CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY : A good choice

Placement Experience:

In 3 year students are eligible for placements. The highest package of engineering is 35LPA, HM is 18 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, TAFE, IBM, Hewlett Packard etc.

Remarks:

There is gender discrimination, restrictions based on gender and most important dressing of girls and thinking of management is narrow minded. Good thing is campus life is very good. Campus is fun based and great enjoyment and building is like a palace.

Remarks:

My college is well-equipped with all the latest and modern amenities and all the departments have a separate building for each subject. Also the fully computerized Administrative Block of the college offers e-connectivity with Principal’s office, IT Block and Library so that it can ensure coordinate working.

I joined Aakash Chandigarh for my jee coaching. After few test I realised that I am good in mathematics. And also I keep myself busy to do mathematics problem lot of time. Aftee my jee advance result I was surprised that I got 82 marks in mathematics and just passing criteria marks in phy and chm. After that I got 3-4 college but I dropped all of them due to my high intrest in mathematics. So ai choose IISER mohali. It allows one to develop and be much cleverer, intelligent and broad-minded.
