Remarks

The college in all is the best college in the city providing the best education and great exposure for the overall development of the students. All those who get admission to this college, are considered to be lucky enough as their future is in secure hands. I am a proud alumni of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is absolutely great. It gives you choice between subjects and there is both practical and theoretical knowledge of all the subjects in the curriculum. There is no extra burden on the students as the examination is in semester form. Whatever you study in the first six months, it is not repeated in the next semester. The load is minimal. Students get ample time to get involved in various other activities along with their studies.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell of our college is very active and provides many opportunities to the students to get placed during their course time. Many prominent companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc visit our campus for placements. No, our college does not provide any internship.

College Events

5

All the festivals and events are celebrated with full enthusiasm in the college. There is a freshers party to welcome all the new students. Lohri function, Diwali, Teej Festival, Dussehra, holi, and all the traditional functions are celebrated in the college. Along with this, many other celebrations like science day, earth day, water day, labor's day, mothers' day, teachers' day, children's day are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is the minimal one as this is a government-funded college. Students from financially weak families get a golden opportunity to study in this college with such a feasible fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides so many scholarship opportunities for the students. Science students could avail inspire scholarship whose amount reached around 1 lakh per annum. Minority scholarships, SC BC scholarships, merit-based scholarships are also available. Alumni association scholarships are also available for students who are meritorious and financially weak.

Campus Life

4.5

According to me, this college provides the best exposure to its students any college could provide. It enhances one's personality in all the fields, academically and in co circular activities. There are many clubs like Rotaract Club, Red Cross Society, Women cell, Science Society, and many more which conduct many activities. The labs of the college have a good infrastructure. There is a gym in the college for the sports students and proper facilities are given to the sports teams of the college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, I did not opt for a hostel. But my friends did. The hostel infrastructure, food, and all the other facilities and very good and feasible. The environment of the hostel is very homely. Rules and regulations of the hostel are also very strict for girls as proper safety and security are maintained.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, There is a proper alumni association of the college that has an annual meeting every year. The alumni also run a fund for the college for the financially weak students and college infrastructure. The seniors of this college are also very kind and helpful.

Admission

Your Twelfth marks decide the merit list. You get an extra percentage for your co circular activities like Ncc NSS and sports. There are seats reserved for scheduled caste, backward caste, sports, single girl child, handicapped, students of ex-servicemen. Your original documents are seen at the time of counseling.

Faculty

5

The faculty of the college is the best in the town. It's one of the hardest tasks to get a job in my college. All the faculty are UGC Net qualified and meritorious in their fields. The faculty is mostly female staff as it is a girl's college. The faculty treats all the students with complete affection and care.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty, their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

I choose this course because I wanted to do higher studies in Physics and then I want to work in ISRO as a scientist. Faculty:student ratio is 1:15 Professors and Staff members as highly qualified. They are very supportive. Always ready to help students. Semester exams are little bit difficult but can be passed easily if you have done hard work during the semester.
