Remarks

I wanted to be an architect since I was in class 10, so I researched about the best colleges in the country and I was told that SPA, Delhi was very good with a great faculty team, and lots of visiting faculties and guest lecturers that provide an insight to the students regarding the architectural field and prepare you the for the world out there. Also, the college being in the capital city has its own perks like it gives quite an exposure and oppurtunities to the students. There are also structures that have been appreciated in architectural terms and often visits to such structures help the students understand what is expected in the current modern world.

Course Curriculum Overview

SPA, Delhi is very good with a great faculty team, and lots of visiting faculties and guest lecturers that provide an insight to the students regarding the architectural field and prepare you the for the world out there. Also, the college being in the capital city has its own perks like it gives quite an exposure and oppurtunities to the students. there are many societies that could be helpful for students to explore their capabilities. the social life is quite happening because of the regular interactions that are held with seniors who are usually helpful

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. I was preparing for architecture and had made it to reputed colleges like CEPT, NITs, JMI, and CET. Paralley i got B.Plan at SPA too. SPA DELHI REVIEW

Overall, there are lots of negative remarks on SPA DELHI. They do not even provide basic facilities for the fees they take. Even what little facilities that exists are very poorly maintained. The lifts does not work more often than not, the coolers for drinking water are outdated and filters unchanged, fire extinguishers outdated, poor parking facilities, no grounds for sports related activities, no air conditioners in the classroom for the unbearable Delhi heat, very poor provision of funds, non-existent placement cells, and the lists goes on....Read More
