What Students Say

Likes

The faculty is very nice and classes are held regularly
The college organises various fests and events
The campus is new with good infra and air conditioned as well have heating

Dislikes

The campus is small like a small area is used
Some of the staff is informal and misses classes
The clubs are very selective leading to intense competition

Course Curriculum Overview

They Main subjects as well as the electivs were nice For further studies it is very well but less practical relevance improvement can be done in more practical lessons rather than just theory The frequency is fine but mid sems can be removed the difficulty level varies from subject to subject but overall are easy

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

No information I have regarding these but as for my plans I wish to pursue eco hons from UK and then eventually work with the government either in rbi or some other branch whatever seems good at that time

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure keeps getting revised the annual fee is around 2 lakhs this include academic tuition fee caution fee and registration fee the people belonging to other categories have a Lower fees i am not availing any scholarship

Campus Life

Small events are held regularly for the big events engi fest is held in feb the library has a wide variety of books Projectors in all classes A lot of clubs are there from creative to educational ones

Admission

I applied to flame symbiosis Gokhale Christ du and iim i got a seat in all except iim got a rejection from iim because i was not able to meet the cut off in the test The admission process was easy they considered the marks of CUET

Faculty

The faculty is very nice and well seasoned they are easy to approach i liked miss Divya Mishra and Ratnam ma'am as they taught everything I a very nice manner and were sweet in one sem there are 2 test one mid sem and one end sem they are acc to the things taught as well as the course

Night Life

The campus is open from 8-6 There are some cafes like Bakebook cheesecake and co Meltado wink and various other The area is safe if you are moving as a group and individually also is safe most of the time

DTU has the best academic scheduling!

Placement Experience:

Many companies come as ever since USME has been installed at the east campus the tie-ups with the brands happened before that. So we were etaught accordingly the war corporate wanted us and that is how this has been done with solid precision and thus our placements have never jolted.

There is a placement cell in Hansraj College which does provides placements of highest package around 25 lakh of last year and being median package around 7 lakhs, but this for selective courses like economics and BCom Honours and computer science Honours & few of mathematics honours while rest of the courses required to have different kind of skill sets can also go for placement depending up on the role that the companies bring to be hired for

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Many also go for postgraduate education, such as MBA after CAT, or to reputed colleges like the DSE for MA.

Tale of a First Year

Placement Experience:

The college Offers campus placements which are mostly in the private sector. Students are eligible for Campus Placements after Completing the 4th semester or we say on completion second year. Many companies are brought on board By the placement cell of the college. In this list also Mkinsey, EY, KPMG, Which are some of the prominent rulers of their industries. The median package offered to UG was 6 lakhs per annum, Top 9 students were offered a median salary of 9,00,000 per annum. Around 490 were placed From campus placements of the college out of 1300 students eligible For the placements, These are only approximate figures and not exact. The highest package offered from the college is around 14,00,000 per annum. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is going for highest studies, Either Masters in economics or MBA in business economics.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

I gave way many entrances to be honest like SNAP, Christ University Entrance, also for UPES and TAPMI as well. DTU has newest facilities!

For my college admission process is very simple and that is one has to clear the central admission entrance test which is CUET. Now the point is that seats are few and in that too the quota for Delhi students is quite high.
