Remarks

The college is one of the best ranked colleges in India and Asia for Architecture. It has a cozy campus making everyone know everyone here. Amazing hostel with amazing mess food although repetitive but far better than other hostels.

Course Curriculum Overview

Architecture combines technical and creative knowledge. Its an exhaustive course. External juries take place for main subjects. There are theory subjects for which the conventional exams happens. There are no mid terms as such.

Placement Experience

Internships are to be applied for by the students themselves. On campus placements happen mainly for the post graduation students. For undergrads the placement drive us organised by student representatives only.

College Events

Two fests happen one in each sem of a year. And almost every festival from all over India are celebrated in the residential complex. These festivals are organised by the students only. The fests are called Mini Utopia and Utopia respectively.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a central government college, hence the fees is quite feasible. Hostel and mess charges are also very feasible. The main expenses comes for the stationary, printing submissions and making models.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships provided to students on economic and merit basis by our college. And the students can apply for government scholarships through the national scholarship portal. Many students get these benefits.

Campus Life

The whole college is works around creativity. The course is frustrating but to counter that theres always some music or art happens at some corner of the college or hostel. A sports meey happens called Athlos.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an healthy relationship between the seniors and the juniors. Seniors take help from the juniors in exchange of treats. The students and the alumni all considers them to be a part of a close knit family.

Admission

Have to give JEE mains paper 2 exam. Get the cutoff marks. Then counselling stage one happens where we are supposed to state the college and course choices. Then according to the ranks those are alloted.

Faculty

There are permanent faculties who are well versed with the subjects they teach. And there are a lot of visiting faculties who are well established in the professional world and some are pioneers of those subjects.

Likes

girls to boys ratio in every year is nearly 50-50. A 50-50 gender ratio creates balance, inclusivity, and fairness.
professors are very friendly, and always helps in the projects personally.
all the faculty of well qualified in there respective fields.

Dislikes

the building's infrastructure can be improved
there is no air condition in the class rooms
the department closes at 5:30pm, students can't work there after 5:30pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum focuses on real world design problems, critical thinking and other software skills that are going to be useful in the professional field. but in this era of artificial intelligence, there is no academic upskilling with AI right now. professors are working on incorporating AI with the curriculum and it will soon be incorporated.

College life of a first year

Likes

The enviornment around the whole campus is built in a very nature friendly way. students can interact with various activities around the campus.
The Campus itself is built in a ver modern way, which helps students to imagine in a creative way.
As it is the main campus for the course of Architecture. alot of events are organised inside the campus which helps the students to interact with there seniors.

Dislikes

The notices having important information are often sanctioned late.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the forst year the faculty will make you do completely dumb and irrelevant stuff which is mostly not related to the real life. You will surely feel like and think in a way that why you are doing all this, but slowly the curriculum will get difficult and would have real world applications. In the starting you should improve your drafting and most importantly you should procastinate your work and should learn the importance of time management.

The infrastructure of the university and the campus.

The faculty is very experienced and thorough with the curriculum. The teaching methods are very good. The exams are conducted annually with sessional tests in between. Since architecture is not so easy course, it comes with its challenges but the student can tackle them with the help of faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are various reasons for which I choosed architecture as a course and the most important is it makes us explore our imagination and creativity and adds technical knowledge to support our creativity to bring it in real life. The Faculty - student ratio is 1:30, all the teachers are phd holders.

I chose the course because of my passion for buildings, the faculty is very dedicated and teacehrs put in alot of hard work with the students. The gender ratio is impressively 1:1. The professors are from good colleges themselves and the teaching methodology is that of an experienced person in the feild. Exams take place annually, semester marking is done on the basis of internal assisment.

Because I wanted to do something creative mixed with technology I chose architecture. The faculty-student ratio was perfect and the faculty taught really well. The teaching method in architecture is more than textbooks. It's much more practical.

SPA DELHI REVIEW

Overall, there are lots of negative remarks on SPA DELHI. They do not even provide basic facilities for the fees they take. Even what little facilities that exists are very poorly maintained. The lifts does not work more often than not, the coolers for drinking water are outdated and filters unchanged, fire extinguishers outdated, poor parking facilities, no grounds for sports related activities, no air conditioners in the classroom for the unbearable Delhi heat, very poor provision of funds, non-existent placement cells, and the lists goes on....Read More
