Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because of my passion for buildings, the faculty is very dedicated and teacehrs put in alot of hard work with the students. The gender ratio is impressively 1:1. The professors are from good colleges themselves and the teaching methodology is that of an experienced person in the feild. Exams take place annually, semester marking is done on the basis of internal assisment.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 16500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are best offered to students of and after 4th year. Through internal sources and contacts. The teachers help out through final year 5th year's internship opportunities. But before that they can be searched for online.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very affordable for day batch. The case is not similar with self financed, where the fees is almost 85000 rupees per year still way less than other colleges but considering the additional expenses on stationary and travelling the course over all feels burdening for self finance students.

Campus Life

Campus life is interesting and exciting, we have fests and events to ease interaction. Clubs basically focus on literature. Sports are not much encouraged yet they are practiced on university level. The University is a nice environment for social interaction.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are great.reparation work takes a lot of time.pgs in the locality are easily fojnd ranging from 3000 to 10000, depending upon locality and fascilities. Menu of hostels is delicious especially for non vegetarians. The forms of hostels are available on website.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

I took the Jee mains paper 2 enterance test and scored 97.6 percentile marks and my all india ranking was 1805. I got into Jamia through first list, in Self financed and got promoted to regular, day batch course soon after in the second list. Released 22 days after the first list. There are reservations for casts, kashmiri migrant, Muslim, muslim woman and pwd. But for a rank lower than 2200 you can easily get in in the first list. The release of lists takes a lot of time. Which is very inconvenient for students who want to decide among colleges. Applications and brochure are availavle with all the necessary details on the university website.

Likes

girls to boys ratio in every year is nearly 50-50. A 50-50 gender ratio creates balance, inclusivity, and fairness.
professors are very friendly, and always helps in the projects personally.
all the faculty of well qualified in there respective fields.

Dislikes

the building's infrastructure can be improved
there is no air condition in the class rooms
the department closes at 5:30pm, students can't work there after 5:30pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum focuses on real world design problems, critical thinking and other software skills that are going to be useful in the professional field. but in this era of artificial intelligence, there is no academic upskilling with AI right now. professors are working on incorporating AI with the curriculum and it will soon be incorporated.

College life of a first year

Likes

The enviornment around the whole campus is built in a very nature friendly way. students can interact with various activities around the campus.
The Campus itself is built in a ver modern way, which helps students to imagine in a creative way.
As it is the main campus for the course of Architecture. alot of events are organised inside the campus which helps the students to interact with there seniors.

Dislikes

The notices having important information are often sanctioned late.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the forst year the faculty will make you do completely dumb and irrelevant stuff which is mostly not related to the real life. You will surely feel like and think in a way that why you are doing all this, but slowly the curriculum will get difficult and would have real world applications. In the starting you should improve your drafting and most importantly you should procastinate your work and should learn the importance of time management.

The faculty is very experienced and thorough with the curriculum. The teaching methods are very good. The exams are conducted annually with sessional tests in between. Since architecture is not so easy course, it comes with its challenges but the student can tackle them with the help of faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are various reasons for which I choosed architecture as a course and the most important is it makes us explore our imagination and creativity and adds technical knowledge to support our creativity to bring it in real life. The Faculty - student ratio is 1:30, all the teachers are phd holders.

Because I wanted to do something creative mixed with technology I chose architecture. The faculty-student ratio was perfect and the faculty taught really well. The teaching method in architecture is more than textbooks. It's much more practical.

Take a look at my college

As I have mentioned earlier that the fees for my btech course is very cheap as compare to other colleges that's why I chose this college over other colleges this college gives you a good return on investment as fees is very less and average package is also decent. No I didn't applied for any other colleges nor I didn't receive any rejection. Admission process is very simple and smooth for this college and course. First of all you have to give jee mains exam and to score good rank if your rank lies less than 1.5lakhs you will surely get admission in this college for any btech branch according to your rank. So after getting cutoff rank you will need to fill their seperate registration form for admission as this University doesn't participate in josaa and other counselling it conducts their own counselling so for this you have to fill their admission form in around month of March -April then after declaration of jee mains result they start selecting students according to their cutoff and give them admission.If your name comes then simply you just have to go with your documents and complete their admission process and pay fees then that's it your admission is complete and start your classes....Read More
