Remarks

I choose IISER Mohali because I want to become a Biology teacher in my life and my thoughts were like that if I prefer to do my under graduation and graduation from a National Importance college not from any local college and that's why I attempted IISER Aptitude Test which was suggested by my teacher and then by some preparation I secured admission in IISER Mohali.

Course Curriculum Overview

Biology faculties department is very nice and IISER Mohali is best among all the colleges in India in the field of Biological Science. In latest Nature Ranking it secured 19th position and nature index ranking is decided on the basic of research activities and no of publications. On other subjects other IISERs are somewhat better than IISER Mohali.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 66800 per year

Placement Experience

No company visits in IISER Mohali to hire students and not only on IISER Mohali in every other IISERs no company visits there because IISERs are research institutes they don't offer any technical course like Engineering colleges, they offer only basic science courses.

College Events

The full week is full of events, activities, seminars, symposium, presentation and talks. Clubs try to make every time student communities busy. They organize a lot of activities and competition and also prizes are given to winners which is somewhat a motivation for participants.

Other department students like btec,mba,bca gets the placement but we didnt get any placement so im planning for my masters. From 2nd last semester students are eligible. Many companies like hero,banks,etc I will pursue master

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thought our session has been extended but the college must provide an academic calendars according to which they work but they don't have that . Student from another states which are far apart they face problem every time when they have to go home . College must check and correct these demerits.

Placement Experience:

On a serious note, if you choose this course, you cannot expect employment opportunities after graduation. You have to do a master's and then you can think of a lectureship or a laboratory assistant. For higher studies, you can pursue a PhD and go in the research field. But the course is not as easy as it seems, the path is very struggling and often you face failure. After the recent NMC update, the non-medical teaching staffs are limited which makes the pursuing of this course very questionable. but there are alternative course and job opportunities after graduation in other life sciences subjects. Rest, the college doesn't provide any internship in this course. You are entirely on your own risk and decisions when you enrol for this course.

CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY : A good choice

Placement Experience:

In 3 year students are eligible for placements. The highest package of engineering is 35LPA, HM is 18 LPA. Microsoft, Amazon, TAFE, IBM, Hewlett Packard etc.

Remarks:

There is gender discrimination, restrictions based on gender and most important dressing of girls and thinking of management is narrow minded. Good thing is campus life is very good. Campus is fun based and great enjoyment and building is like a palace.

Remarks:

My college is well-equipped with all the latest and modern amenities and all the departments have a separate building for each subject. Also the fully computerized Administrative Block of the college offers e-connectivity with Principal’s office, IT Block and Library so that it can ensure coordinate working.

I haven't been placed yet. The placement, I have heard from senior that is fine, we get companies with a package of 5-6 lac. Many companies visit the college during the placement period for the students.

I joined Aakash Chandigarh for my jee coaching. After few test I realised that I am good in mathematics. And also I keep myself busy to do mathematics problem lot of time. Aftee my jee advance result I was surprised that I got 82 marks in mathematics and just passing criteria marks in phy and chm. After that I got 3-4 college but I dropped all of them due to my high intrest in mathematics. So ai choose IISER mohali. It allows one to develop and be much cleverer, intelligent and broad-minded.
