Remarks

University of engineering and management kolkata, I come here because this one is a new private colleges but achieved too much in very short period of time and this college focus on practical way of teaching so here i am getting many opportunities to showcase my skills and also learn new skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was upto the mark. course is correctly designed. enough of industrial exposure was provided and faculty were very good even some of them have double Phd and yaah they are more like friends. but some faculties are very strict also.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

placement os good. there are many companies like TCS,VIPRO, CTS. etc. visit our college regularly.

College Events

campus life is quite boring from 9 am to 5 pm continuous clases. there are many things but while classes you are not allowed to use them. you can move out in between the classes. Banking classes are strictly prohibited.

Campus Life

There are many computer labs every department have their different computer labs and lots of computer are there. there no sports here. no wifi there is a library with many good books there is one online library also. except computer lab there are many labs like electronics lab, electrical lab, chemistry lab, biotech lab etc.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

You can take admission in UEM Kolkata through IEMJEE Entrance Test or Direct Admission by giving 10,000/-.
