Remarks

I joined Kalynai University because of it's excellent reputation. It has wonderful faculty. Also once I got done with 12, it seemed accurate. The location is very accessible from where I live.They have impressive infrastructure and it had all the subjects I had considered.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is updated according to the latest CBCS curriculum. Yes we are provided enough industrial exposure. The faculties are top notch, especially my hod is a person who has helped me a lot during my trying times at college

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Placement Experience

No our college doesn't have a placement cell as of yet, at least in my course. Although the alumni networking is good for job referrals. Notable alumni includes Arijit Singh, Ritwik Ghatak, Koushik Kar. Well no, there aren't a many famous start ups by my batch mates.

College Events

Campus life to honest is the best one can hope for. The technical, cultural and management departments all hold their respective and combined fest. The fest are massive and almost everybody participates

Campus Life

Campus has infrastructure for sports including football, cricket, volleyball, wifi service is available too. Our library is one of the best and one can find almost every book they need for their degree there.

Good BCA college with average placements

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students can appear in the campusing programme and sit in interviews. The highest package can be 5 lac PA. The average package is about 3 LPA. More than 65% of students get placements from college. After BCA I'll do MCA from MAKAUT university. Also, the college provides many internships in the 4th and 5th semesters.

This college was allotted on the basis of the WBJEE examination. there is a quota for home-state students. Maximum seats are reserved for Home state students. the cut-off for other state students is 3100 and for home, the state is 5100. A short and informative tour of my university.

In my course there are 30 seats in my department. Students must be graduated from a recognised university. The must apply through online. There is a website of our University. Students can open the portal and fill up the application form. In the form they must put their willing subject or subjects and then they must put their personal details like name , parents name, address, phone number, aadhar card number and then they have to upload their graduation marksheets, hs and madhyamik marksheet, case certificate (if available), photo, signature and birth proof. Then they have to pay their application fees and click on submit. There are reservation benefits for obc-a, obchb and sc/St. There are also reserved seats for sports and handicapped people. I have issues with the time they have taken for their admission process. It is very long time to wait for students. They take a very long time(1-2 months) to publish the merit list.
