Course Curriculum Overview

This is a 1 year course in which we learn all about rights of citizens and laws. We come to learn about the subjects such as Law and social transformation in India, Judicial process, Environmental law etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college is started in the year 2016. So its placements programmes are not so good. But as far as I am concerned as this is a national law university so it has a good future for us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fees for the course of LLB is about INR 1.42 lakhs. This is a 1 year course . The university has many payments method like network banking, cash or cheque also. Compared to the other universities this university has a reasonable fees.

Campus Life

There are many computer labs . Also there is a library where we can issue as many books as we can. There are many magazines and journals in the library. As this university is started in the year 2016 so the construction for many infrastructure is going on.

Admission

The admission in this university is done based on an entrance exam known as CLAT(common law entrance test) exam . The eligibility criteria for this university is either LLB graduate or five year integrated LLB graduate with at least 55% marks.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty here in the university is very experienced. They are very helpful. The teaching process and the way of interaction with the students are very good. They prepare the students also for many competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty here is really nice .Some of them love to teach ,you can see the passion in their eyes They actually care especially 1st year faculty members. Faculty student ratio is appropriate in my opinion,in general we have 3 assistant prof.,1 additional,1associate and 1 head of the department plus JRs,SRs. Faculty members are really qualified and are passed out from prestigious colleges which makes you feel respect for them even more. Term exams are conducted after 3-4 months and you really have to study ,they consume you but you'll pass if you study. They aren't difficult per se but the syllabus is vast which is quite a challenge.
