Remarks

Better human resources that the 3 faculty has ,are some of them highly qualified and helpful. Admission Process- F/O - Agricultural Engineering - WBJEE, ICAR(UG), JEELET. This is the topmost educational institute in agriculture among East and North-east regions. Faculties are also better than UBKV, WBUAFS and VB. BCKV SITE- bckv.edu.in and collegedunia reviews actually helped a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

Agricultural Engineering scope will increase in near future as GDP says. Faculties are really better. Faculty, student ratio is moderate Exams are like surprise tests sometimes a little tricky.

If anyone regularly checks announcement section daily devoid of how much stipend offered, can secure his/her internships(MOSTLY FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS ARE OFFERED).

Placements scenario is average. And if you choose this university leaving a private college, then your decision is better. Packages are mostly in between 3-5 lacs.

Fess are too much less than any other agricultural university/IIT Kharagpur(AG.ENGG.)

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
