My college - bearer of prons and cons

Since i live in Gurgaon, this college wasn't so far . Moreover I wanted to break the stereotype that it's a Muslim college, Muslims will harm u etc. This college has some good as well as bad sides . The good things are that the faculty is very punctual, honest and hardworking . It has various societies like the dance , music and theatre society in which students can enroll and show their talents. Something I dislike about this college is the canteen food as it has a lot of oil in it and stray dogs roam around licking the used plates. So it's very unhygienic too . Students aren't allowed to use headphones in the college. The admission procedure is very disturbing . I was made to rush from one floor to other to get my documents signed and then had to wait In a long queue to get them approved . My admission took 2 days . The admissions usually starts in the month of June and July depending on the cut- offs. The faculty of the political science department is very nice . And I used Wikipedia to search

I chose this course as I want to enter civil service. There is 1 teacher available for 60 students. The faculties are highly qualified and teach very well and make the concepts as clear as water . In a year , exams are conducted two times i.e in the month of December and may . It wasn't very difficult to pass as the marks of the internals which includes the assignments etc were also included in the overall result.

Students can apply from the 1st year itself for the placements. Many companies like the Ballutions , A Photography etc visited the college and offered various jobs to students . The average package was from 15,000 - 35,000. Around 15%of the students get placements every year . After getting the degree I would prepare for civil service .

Fees for the Freshers was around 7500 . 1000 rs are increased when they reach 2nd year and 3rd year respectively. Scholarships are given to students who score brilliant and several job placement cells get opened in the CLG once a year where different companies come , interview and select the students .

The college conducts one main fest in the month of FEB for two days. Singers or performers are also called. There are thousands of books in the library which are very useful for the students of different courses. The college conducts sports like cricket , table tennis , basketball and extra curricular activities like dance , music, theater ,NCC etc . The social groups run by students are the Gandhi study circle and the clubs are of dance , music , theatre , photography etc .
