Remarks

Good fresh air, the friends you make for life is one good thing but I don't remember much good there, but there is no placement, T&P cell is idiotic I don't why they put efforts to invite some companies for placements. Management is also not a good bit surely you will manage, there is a saying in our college if you can live in B.T.K.I.T. you can in any type of conditions.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course curriculum will be mentioned on the website for each course, the college comes under UTU so they follow the same pattern, there is nothing research driven, it's all up to you if you learn you become better in your profession as you will have knowledge of that.

Placement Experience

1

The placement is not good, only TCS came to the college for recruitment during 2016 and took around 10 students out of 74 (total strength)from my batch(Electrical). First criteria to get selected is percentage should be above 60 and after there is apti and if get selected there is interview and you will get the final offer from the company if you clears the interview.

College Events

1.5

There is Aarohan where you can learn and get some technical certificates, different courses are there for different branches mostly teach by their seniors, you can participate in it if you want to and add something to your resume and there is Scintilla where you can participate in some sports like badminton, football, chess, rangoli making etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees were 43000 considering college and 20000 for mess so totalling to 65000 approximately for a year so for a semester it is around 32500, you can submit you through cash or through demand draft during the start of each semester, there is SBI bank branch where you have to submit the D.D. or cash.

Fees and Financial Aid

I took the loan, but there is a scholarship available for minority candidates and SC/STs.The average scholarship is around 48000 which is more than full fees for the year.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus Life is simple you go to college if there is class, some bunk that too, go to play to the nearest field or go out to eat momo or noodles or some fast food to the nearest shop during evening time comes to your room have dinner watch movies, serials or talk.to your friend on some irreverent topics, there is no campus life as such. The gender ratio is like if there are 4 boys then there are 3 girls so the ratio is 4:3 according to my batch, I can't say anything about diversity as all had maths or maths +bio or maybe some other combination of math+ during there 12th standard, yes students are of a different race, religion, different economic status etc.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostels are not that good, toilets are worst in some blocks also there are water problems you have to.store water for use in the case as water does not come every time, it(room) is sharing during 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year but there could be exceptions depending on the situation. The overall cost for hostels is 20000 for 2 semesters or 1 year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni surely helps you can get notes from them, get their experience on what to do or not get most out of it during your college life.

Admission

I cleared the AIEEE exam and got selected during the spot counselling round, I was the first one in my batch to get selected in spot round. Generally, the counselling happens for three-round 1st, 2nd and 3rd and if the seat remains which generally remains then there is spot round for which you have to go to the college location to participate in it, in other rounds I mean 1,2 and 3 you can participate online.

Faculty

1

Faculty during 1st year will be good, from the second you want to have that knowledgeable faculty or in some case maybe they would hire someone on a contractual basis or there may be no faculty for some subjects, this will remain the same for your third year and worse for the final year. There were only 2 teachers who used to teach us during final year, one was contractual. You will have more than enough free time during your final year, you don't need to go to college as there will be no.one to teach.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.
