- Its remote location , lack of industrial exposure , big cities are too far .
- Mess food is not good , and hostel condition is not taken care well .
- college washroom's condition is so bad , maintenance is not done properly .
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses provided there are - BTech , Mtech , BCA , MCA college follow the same curriculum as of other colleges not very good , in 1st sem they added subjects like digital marketing , entreprenurships etc but were not taught well , whole semester around 4 to 5 classes held curriculum is heavily foucused on theortical subjects .
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements after 7th sem . Placements are decent accordingly , avg. package is around 3.5lpa , Companies like BEL visited there last year other than that Wipro , HCL , TCS are major one . Many students go for off campus to get the decent package .
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee you will be paying around 70,000 in total for tution , including other college facilities like lab , library , sports fee etc. If you are getting TFW category seat you yearly fee will be around 20,000 Since BTKIT Dwarahat is a residential college you will be paying hostel charges of 3000 , if you are are availing for mess food it will cost you 20K-22K in total . Scholarships in Btkit Dwarhat - Merit Based Schlorship - awarded on the basis of odd semester marks , upto 3000/year . SC / ST / OBC svholarships - gien by samaj kalyan vibhag Uttrakhand . National Scholarships - awarded by central gov. like EBC scholarships , Pragati scholarships etc.
Campus Life
Two major events are held there anually , sports event Spardha and cultural one Scintila , organised around april or may . Library services are good and accesible amount of books , smart classes are available and ccf provide good internet facilities as well . Sports facilities are good , Basketball court for girls and boys , TT equip , badminton court and a ground is provided . college gym is not in very good condition . other social groups are genrally not seen there , currently 1-2 clubs are running.
Hostel Facilities
A sharing room is given to you , you will be getting single room in final year . you have to avail hostel even if you are a local student and have to pay half of the mess fee . Hostel meal is not so good , it need a lot improvement also the water sortage is a huge problem there .
Admission
After 12th , apper for JEE mains , councelling through UTU you will get this college , cutoff is not a issue there you will eaisly get cse with the 5 to 7 lkh rank , even you have appeared for jee you can still go through spot councelling , seats are generally vacant there.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is good , thou almost faculty members are preety friendly and approchable , while some are not that friendly as well . Per semester 2 class test ,lab practical and End Semester exams are held . difficulty level of exam is moderatly easy , not too hard generally from what faculty is teaching in class . class testes are held by the faculty members themselves which is of 15 marks each and End sem exams paper is from UTU and checked online by UTU itself whch is of 100 marks .
