Campus Experience

Likes

The view is very good as the college is situated on the mountains
The faculty is good they cover the syllabus
The campus size is very large of the college

Dislikes

There is shortage or scarcity of water in this area
As the hostels have been made since 1992 so there is no maintenance
The availability of equipments in the laboratory

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our college you can expect a good CTC if you do good in academics and focus on improving the technical skills . My plan is not fixed now , I have not decided till now about what to do after the degree

The placement is very poor and companies do not visit the college for placement
Library with outdated books and technology

8th semester Hardly2 or 3 companies, offers made were 5 or 6. 3LPA average and highest is 11 LPA 1% of the studentsgets placed Working with the comanies and industries to grow my skills with the company I'm working with.

It will be excellent college if government gives proper attention to it.

Likes

I like the classes facility but as it is government college so little bit problems arrises
I like the strength of college students and the ratio of boys and girls
I like the sports facilities and the opportunities.

Dislikes

If something is faulty so it will always be faulty in government colleges.
Number of girls is less in mechanical and electrical engineering depar
Sports ground is suitable but maintenance is not done by college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is good for those who opt it by there self and there is good opportunities for the government sectors but by electrical engineering less number of private sector jobs are there so we have to study hard for the government jobs and electrical engineering is one of the toughest branch.

Likes

Campus of this college is very big and environment is also very good
There are seperated hostels for different years
You can have many extra curricular activities here

Dislikes

Campus of this college is very big so you have to walk too much
There is no facility for laundry so you have to wash your clothes by yourself
Outing from hostel closes at 6:30 pm which is too early

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is not very good but not bad as well. It is very far away from cities so not much companies visits here. But many companies like Bharat Electronics Limited ( BEL) visited here last year for placements. But if you didn't get the campus placement then you can go for off campus pacememts, in fact one student got abroad placement this year.

why to choose this college

Likes

Faculty is best .no lack of teachers .every teacher is helping.
campus is spread in wide area . from campus their is a great view to see
in campus every branch has their own labs .and even every practical subject has its own lab.

Dislikes

condition of hostels is not nice at all . but now renuation is going on
some mess have good taste of food . but some hostels have not.

Placement Experience:

as the student can give gate exam in third year .so he can go for job interview by sowing that he has cleared gate exam .as he has cleared gate exam so he will be given first preference but you will get the job after 4th year.

Likes

Good thing about the college is its location , situated in hilly regions so weather over there is great , friendly environment in or out the campus . .
Faculty members here are good and friendly
Campus is huge and provide good sports facilities

Dislikes

Its remote location , lack of industrial exposure , big cities are too far .
Mess food is not good , and hostel condition is not taken care well .
college washroom's condition is so bad , maintenance is not done properly .

Students are eligible for campus placements after 7th sem . Placements are decent accordingly , avg. package is around 3.5lpa , Companies like BEL visited there last year other than that Wipro , HCL , TCS are major one . Many students go for off campus to get the decent package .

If you want to enjoy a good weather you can come here.
The labs are good with good equipments and other things
The faculty is also good if almost all the branches

Dislikes

Here the internet services are very poor
Major issue here is the water problem, no regular suppmy of water

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college are not very great some major companies just don't come here for on campus interview. Earlier the placement were really great, some of our alumni are on some great positions but after the pandemic the placement were affected. The students become eligible for campus placements in their 7th semester. The average package here is around 3.5 Lpa.

Great BTKIT

Likes

The best thing of the college is about its location in hilly region
Grounds are big enough to play multiple sports
Faculties are good and humble,they are great

Dislikes

Most are good but reaching here can take some time
The most i dislike is 75% attendance criteria

i had a keen interest in my branch, CSE. from class 8th when it started to code I grew interested in the coding and then to enhance this is joined this course and this really help me a lot and i see myself growing in it

Likes

Faculty is great especially in computer science.
A lot of free time to prepare for anything we want.

Dislikes

Mess food was poor. Hostels were not well maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue btech in Computer Science and engineering. The curriculum prepares us for real world application.There is no specific areas for improvement according to me. Everything is good.

Love the greenary around the college campus
Seniors are supportive towards you if you behave nicely .

Dislikes

There are too many restrictions for girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the 1st year student the curriculum conclude the basics of engineering,it is not that tough . Most of the stuff in 1st year you have studied in 11th and 12th .After that in 2nd year you are introduced with your branch specific stuffs .And very important is that attendence plays a very crucial role you require minimum 75 percent in each subjects to appear for internal test and overall minimum 75 percentage to appear in final external examination.
