Remarks

Good Placements and very good location. College is not associated to Delhi University Students Union which makes the atmosphere more calm and peaceful. The college has always been known for its good crowd.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Every year contains 5 subjects. In the last year, one has to choose a major subject. I chose finance. It is not research driven. You have assignments throughout the year. The faculty is good which can mentor you well for the future. Along with the course, it is highly advisable that one does internships every year actual work experience.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements were good. Reputed companies and MNCs come for placements every year. Almost all the students get placed. For internships, one has to venture out themselves as not many companies come for internships at graduate level. Final placements are good especially if you're an economics major or b.com.

College Events

4.5

Annual fest of the college is a festival which is eyed upon by all the students of the university. Annual fest comprised of competitions in cultural, music, arts, debate, etc amongst students of different colleges. Besides the annual fest, MUN competitions were held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of the course is really cheap as it is a government sponsored college. It falls under University of Delhi, so it is really cheap. Private colleges are far expensive when compared to this college. In this regards, DU is really good. Moreover, it has better reputation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was scholarship for the students who topped their class in the respective year. One had to go to the administration office with their result.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was good. A market for refreshments was nearby. The college was located in the heart of the city. Gender ratio was good. Sports facilities were adequate and a lot of talented students from all walks of life, be it music, science, etc were there. There was healthy competition.

Hostel Facilities

4

Since there are no hostels for this particular college, one has to find accomodation in a PG or rent a flat. One can chose to stay with their relatives. I would advise renting a flat with friends as it is economical and teaches you to manage a home.

Alumni/Alumna

Not a strong alumni network. So, do not expect much from the alumnus for placements or referrals. Although, the college has a good placement cell and a lot of reputed companies do come for placements.

Admission

It was based on the cut off list. Since my course was b.com, the cut off was high.I got in the 2nd cut-off list of the college. After the cut-off is released and your score is making in it, all you have to do is go to the college along with your marksheet, they'll compute your score and make the payment of fees.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was good and experienced. There was visiting faculty who were industry professionals, they could really give yo a good insight about their and other industries and what qualities a student must develop. In all, the faculty was really good, skilled and experienced.

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
