Course Curriculum Overview
Course: The course was not updated and a lot of subjects had conventional topics. If there were any modern technology, teachers deliberately skipped that. The curriculum had less focus on innovation and critical thinking. Students don't have much freedom to choose from subjects. Academics: The academic pressure was negligible. The courses were distributed equally among semesters and there was enough time for preparation of quiz, assignment and term exam. The class were held regularly along with practical labs. Software knowledge was given in the required subjects. However, it could have been improved. Options to study other branches subjects and management and humanities courses was also there. Attendance was strict but has bow been replaced with Grade drop in case of low attendance. Faculty: Apart from a few faculty members, others lacked will to teach. One or two even repeated last year question paper. Hardly 2-3 professors gave innovative assignments. Question papers were mostly conventional with less scope of questions that involve critical thinking. Classes were taken regularly but most teachers were not experts in their subjects.
