Remarks
This college mainly focuses on Research and I wanted to be a scientist that's why I took admission in this college. This college is among the top 100 of Nature Index Ranking. This is one of the best colleges in the country. Considering all these factors in my mind and my interest in core research and exploring the world. I joined this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very updated. We mainly focus on Research. Most of the faculties are PhD from USA, France, Germany or other countries from Europe. We have got a bunch of talented profs. Our course curriculum is experimental and people are still experimenting with the course structure. The Curriculum is in development phase.
Internships Opportunities
We mostly intern in the research department of other colleges in various state and countries all over the world. The amount of stipend is not defined as such.
Placement Experience
Most of the students go for PhD only handful of them go for jobs. There are very few companies who visit our college. There is no placement cell. Most of the Alumni are in Research at various universities. There is also an Entrepreneurship Cell promoting Entrepreneurship in the college.
College Events
We have got the best campus life inside the campus. There's no life and nightlife outside the campus. The very diverse culture on campus but Bengalis are more in number. Annual College fest is Inquivesta (Largest Science fest in North India). The number of talks and events are carried out throughout the year.
Fees and Financial Aid
KVPY rankers and under 10k jee advanced rankers get 60000 annually as a scholarship. Under 1 percentile CBSE and other state rankers get the same amount of scholarship others don't get any scholarship.
Campus Life
Decent Wifi Speed. One of the best Research Labs in the country and world. We have great sports expanded on the campus. We have a swimming pool. 3 storey library and 2 storey Computer Center and 1 whole building for a Research Labs and Other Building for academics namely TRC and LHC.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, 3 people stay in one room and from 2nd year onwards 2 people in a room. Hostel room has 2-3 almirahs, 2-3 Desk and Chair, 3 lights and 2 fan and two large windows for ventilation. Wifi Speed is decent in Hotel. Every student should live in the hostel only.
