Iiser kolkata have an impressive infrastructure that seamlessly blends morden facilities with aesthetic design
Sports facilities are top notch the campus is designed to promote healty relationship between sports and studies

Dislikes

The department of biolopgy is maybe not that good

Teachers , clubs , sports facilities, campus life etc.

Dislikes

There are snakes and other things in the campus as it is a very green campus .

The course is excellent. BSMS is a relatively new concept in india and it is quite successful. Faculties of iisers are very experienced in their respective fields. They are very supportive and ready to take doubts in the class .

Experience of IISER Kolkata

Likes

Nature, I most liked the nature of IISER Kolkata. Far from hustles of city, IISER-K it's made in a village , open fields, small forests.

Dislikes

I can't say I particularly disliked anything, but the pace of course is bit fast.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the terms of relevance and comprehensiveness, I would rate the curriculum by 8/10 . The curriculum here is kinda open. Teachers decides the place of the course by observing students' status. You are welcomed to question every thing teacher says (if you're not being annoying ????). The faculties are good (not so good if I remember my first sem. But in 2nd sem, the faculties are amazing). You might be a little disappointed if your Target is Earth Science but it will be a heaven for you if your Target is physics, chemistry or biology .

IISER bhopal the heaven for science

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to pursue graduation in physics. The faculty of our college is the best most teachers and professors have done their Ph.D. from foreign universities. The term exams are a little bit tough if you follow the professor lecture in timely then there is no problem you will pass the exam easily.

Nice course structure but too much burdened with tests. The course stucture is good as in the 1st two years all science subjects has to be studied which gives a vast idea about every subject and then we choose the majors in the 3rd year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very updated. We mainly focus on Research. Most of the faculties are PhD from USA, France, Germany or other countries from Europe. We have got a bunch of talented profs. Our course curriculum is experimental and people are still experimenting with the course structure. The Curriculum is in development phase.
