Remarks

Jai hind college is known for its science courses. It is rated best among the top colleges and has been the best for years. Started by renowned people to give in best to the students, it has always met up to the expectations and been constantly high rated.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pretty good. We have a compulsory subject as a Foundation Course. Rest all the courses are related to science like physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics. We can choose anyone for a major in the 3rd year.

Placement Experience

There is an entrepreneur cell in the college which organises activities throughout the year and the main activity is the summit which is held in Jan. The summit comes up with creative ideas each year and engages students across the country.

College Events

The events are many. We have a science club, a discussion club that tries to incorporate the studies in a fun loving way. We have to register for it and then we can be a member of it and enjoy the activities.

Review for Government Polytechnic, Pune. The dream college for all Punekars.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
