Excellent college for diplomawith supportive faculty

The course curriculum is good and covers the main subjects needed for the COmputer filed. i liked that there is a mix of theory and practical, which makes the topics easier to understand. the exams are held regularly and are moderate in difficulty. i feel adding more latest technologies and practical projects. the exams are of 3 hours of 70 marks

The college provides internship opportunities mainly during the later part of the diploma and helps studnets get summer intership after 2nd year as internship is compulsory for DIploam students, the internship is around 6 weeks and gives studnets some practical knowledge, but most of the internships are unpaid and no stipends are given

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

I paid around 70000rs per year for my diploma, so the total course fees came to around 210000rs for three years. the fees included the regular college and tution charges. the fees were manageable compared to the education and facilities provided.there are also scholarship and fee concession options for eligible students, which can help reduce the fees. overall, the feel the fees are resonable and the course is fairly affodable considering the academics and facilities

Campus life at VES was good overall. the college includes technical events, sports and cultural events during the year, which gives students a chance to take part apart from studies. the library has a good collection of reference books and very newly made library, classrooms have projectore,digital boards and some rooms have AC as well. Sprorts activities are also available

I chose VES polytechnic because of its good reputation,location and academics. i had checked a few other diploma collge like Vidyalankar, Somaiya but that colleges have more fees and very far,i did not face any major rejection but i was having good marks in ssc. the admission was through the Maharashtra DTE process afterSSC, the admission preocess was simple, from filling the form to selecting preference and seat allotment

The faculty members are generally helpful and approachable. whenevr we had doubts, most teachers were ready to topics again. the teaching is a mix of PPts and practical sessions. the course has regular internal tests,practical exmas and semester exams. the exams are not very difficult if you attend lectures and study regularly. the syllabus covers the important technical subjects along with practical knowledge. overall, i had a good experience with the faculty and academics.

There is not much nightlife inside the collge itself ast the campus usually closes after collge hours. most studnets hang out at the canteen or nerby cafes and food places . the library is also useful for spending extra time studying. hostel students have there own timing and rules. around chembur and kurla theer are quite few places to eat and hang out with friends, the lacality is very safe in night to roam as i heard this from my friends who stay in PGs and rooms
