Remarks

DU is well known for its academic excellence and personal development of students. Any student would want to pick this university over any other at any time. The undergraduate courses here are affordable at lower prices. Plus the exposure that you experience is worth it!

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was updates and revised from time to time. The teachers were well aware of what they were teaching. The industrial visits were quite often made to nearby industrial sectors. Some of the best faculties in my college were Botany, Zoology and English ones.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are not quite well here.I mean not for all the courses. Except for Computer Science and Electronics dept, all others suffer for that matter. Around 60% students get placed after their degree, and most of them belong to a handful of courses.

College Events

The college made sure we were not only book worms. Our all round development was made a priority. Weekly seminars, semester fests, cultural activities, societies, all made sure we stand tall with our boosted self confidence.

Campus Life

My campus infrastructure is the best and excellent and at par as compared to other colleges in DU. What I had dreamt of DU was the exact same dream, I experienced at my college. Though, infrastructure is not the only concern but yes! It is always a add-on!

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

At first i gave my JAT exam which at that time allowed admission only in BMS, BA(economics) and BFIA. I started to look for backup options and found one at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. The course is available in the cutoff list of DU. This college is one of the best colleges in DU with respect to course curriculum as well as placements.
