None, Credit based sysytem is followed for pursuing education in the university of Delhi. Normally anything above 85% has a a good chance to bag a decent college in the unversity of Delhi.

Internships Opportunities

For internships, pr and human resource as well as content development are good avenues. They pay a stipend up to rs.7000/- per month. The least that you get is 3k per month.

College Events

Fests at Delhi University is a much loved highlight. Cultural events such as dance and music competitions, nukkad naatak, theatre plays debates take place. These fests are annual and held at the university, inter college and department level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure at Delhi University os extremely feasible. Rs.8500/- is charged each yr as fees for college.it is inclusive of all expenses,be it exams or college facilities.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel at Gargin though the canteen food is good and the price is easy on the pocket.extremely student friendly.

The student network is well ingrained and rooted with the college. Communication is easy and fluid. Teachers have a healthy interaction with all students and tend to keep a good record of their student's progress, even after college.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

The real college experience

i applied to several other Delhi University colleges as well like lsr, miranda and hindu. i was initally thinking of shortlisting for ashoka or symbiosis, but i couldn't qualify for financial aid which made it financially inviable. at symbiosis i cleared the written exam but wasn't fully clear about the circulum or the student culture. The admission process was fairly simple in my opinion i gave the CUET and filled in my preferance list, my scores were pretty comfortable for clearing the cutoff, though I did not aplly under any reservation category. the process was smooth overall, everything was done throught the samarth portal online and very eaisly....Read More
