Remarks

As per fees is concerned college is good even education is also uptown mark teachers are very knowledgeable but the thing is college doesn't provide a single piece a exposure to you not at all.union is the worst part of college

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course here is average as exam structure is considered it is semester pattern they take internals of 10 marks attendence of 10 and rest 80 is main exam. Attendence is very mandatory if you don't have 60 percent attendence they will defer you

Placement Experience

1.5

No college does not provide internship and placement is not very good if number of companies are concerned majorly Delloite and EY came and no other company is coming for placement they have low paying package too

College Events

0.5

Only one in a major way like it is Quest named it is kind of inter college competition and not uptown mark even that it should be. union they forcefully collect fest money and fund it to there party I.e.TMC

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible fees is there it is very low 1200 per semester and it you are collegiate then 600 or if you take scholarship then much fees low it will be.admission charges are also negligible. Over all fees is bearable

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

No college doesn't have such facilities.they just provide scholarship to poor students and even they provide books to them if they consult to teachers. Loan isn't required because of minimal fees structure.

Campus Life

1

No there is no extraurricular activities in our college only they provide is carried and nothing else only union is there you cannot participate in any event's management all is done by union of college in a nutshell there is no exposure

Alumni/Alumna

Bo they aren't seniors are all bengali and they support is only bengali. In union there are a lot of inefficient people and there references who are also inefficient. Some of seniors are nice they are generally outsiders

Admission

Got percentage in case it must be above eighty five atlest for admission they published their merit list and then I was short listed tyen you have to pay admission fees and other important documents that are required

Faculty

3.5

Though they are good and supportive as they have good knowledge about subjects but they are bengalis not every but old faculty speaks in bengali and not in english which creates problems for outsiders

Placement Experience:

On passing 5th semester, the students of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration are eligible for campus placement offers. The campus reach out college during our sixth semester to interview us. After passing sixth semester we can proceed with the jobs in case we qualify. All the Big 4s viz EY, Deloitte, PwC and KPMG including with MNCs reach our college for campus placement opportunities. They definitely select students each year. The highest package offered till date is 10 lakhs with a associate profile. The average package is 3 laks. The percentage of students getting placement offer is between 5% to 10 %. My plan after the BCOM course is becoming a successful Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant.

The placements are good. Top recruiting companies of our college are Wipro, ITC, PWC, Capital First, Future General and Times of India. Students majorly go for higher education, and around 30% of the students opted for internships. The average salary package offered was 2.5-3 LPA. Job roles were for students from all 3 specialisations like finance, marketing and HR.
