Our college is an overall good college with some exceptions.

Course Curriculum Overview

College is basically a commerce college having UG and PG courses. Yes corporates do visit our college for campusing fresh students. Selection process is explained by our assistant professors. The selection is done with the help of exams and interview.

Placement Experience

D. Shaw, delloite, KPMG, E&Y are some of the various corporate bodies who have a visit in our college they have there own selection process and only qualified personnel get a chance for interview. Internship are not available by our college.

College Events

There are many cultural festival organised in our college some of them are sports day, annual fest, foundation day and socials participants are required to give there name if interested in any activities or if they are willing to help with the administration work.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is a Government college so the fees structure is a very feasible one apart from less fee structure our college gives books free of cost to needy students who don't have there capacity to get new books. College takes into account your background and helps in various ways.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

No, I didn't have to opt for an educational loan because our college fees structure is a feasabile one.

Campus Life

Our college is a co-educational Institute so girls and boys come here in equal proprtion there is no caste discrimination. Your selection totally depends on merit. Our college helds various inter college competition were you can participate and get certificates.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors of our college are indeed very helpful our college has a anti-ragging society so juniors need not to worry about ragging and also we have a students union which is very helpful.

Admission

Goenka is a renowned institution. Getting a bachelor's degree from the college has great academic value. The admission process is simple you get admitted according to marks scored in 12th. Yes the cut off percentage is rather high. The college administration is indeed a strict one the take the admission process rather strictly.

Faculty

Faculty of our college is rather a great one there are highly qualified professionals having done PhD. The average numbers of lectures we get per semester for each subject is about 16-20. Teaches help is in clearing every doubts and concept. Lectures were held on relevant industry specific experience.

Campus placements are available for the good students who score above 8cgpa which is very difficult in cu but the starting salary starts from 300000 which I don't think is good but atleast better then the college's that doesn't provide placement

Review for GCCBA in the best way possible

Placement Experience:

On passing 5th semester, the students of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration are eligible for campus placement offers. The campus reach out college during our sixth semester to interview us. After passing sixth semester we can proceed with the jobs in case we qualify. All the Big 4s viz EY, Deloitte, PwC and KPMG including with MNCs reach our college for campus placement opportunities. They definitely select students each year. The highest package offered till date is 10 lakhs with a associate profile. The average package is 3 laks. The percentage of students getting placement offer is between 5% to 10 %. My plan after the BCOM course is becoming a successful Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant.

The placements are good. Top recruiting companies of our college are Wipro, ITC, PWC, Capital First, Future General and Times of India. Students majorly go for higher education, and around 30% of the students opted for internships. The average salary package offered was 2.5-3 LPA. Job roles were for students from all 3 specialisations like finance, marketing and HR.

I applied to Shivnath Shastri College apart from this college. I got admission in that college with my name appearing in the first list itself. But I chosed Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration over it because it was a government college with prestigious name and fame and reputable teachers, not to forget less fee structure.
