Tier-2 College in Bangalore

The college is well established and getting it's name higher on the list (Academically). But there are some mentality issues with the principal. Girls can't roam in the college in their shorts. We're not allowed in the college with the slogans written on the t-shirts or shirts. Most of the teachers are less supportive towards co-curricular activities.

This college is affiliated with VTU. So the VTU Curriculum is followed in the college. I can say that VTU Curriculum is a little bit outdated for the first year, they teach us things which will never be in use of us. The exams are frequent here ( 3 Internals and then External) for a semester. The labs are chilled here, every lab is once a week.

The placements in the college starts from the 6th semester. This college is the part of the DAYANANDA SAGAR INSTITUTIONS. The placements happens under one roof of the main college DAYANAND SAGAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. So every student gets equal chance to showcase their talents. This college is established in 2011, it's pretty new. Currently it isn't providing any internships but in the upcoming year it may be provide internships.

College celebrates Ganesha fest its under cultural fest where the college students participate. And this yera there is a CSI Fest kind a technical fest where the students from all over Bangalore participates. There's another cultural and technical fest organized in the even semester where the college students participates.

If you're a resident of the Karnataka and took admission thourough KCET then the fees is very feasible its under 1.5 LPA but for non Karnataka students who took admission thourough COMEDK the fees are nearly 3.5 LPA which is pretty expensive.

College provides scholarships which comes under government scheme for girls and for reserved caste. It's provides scholarship of nearly Rs. 50, 000. It also supports loan with the SBI bank which is nearby the college.

There is one student activity center which have 1 Wooden Badminton court, 1 Squash court, GYM, Table Tennis, Carrom, Foosh ball. Here is one Machine learning lab sponsored by NVIDIA. And one Data Science and Ethical Hacking Lab.

We can get interacted with alumni only thourough social media like Facebook and Linkedin. There is no any portal on the website or in the college thourough which we can get interacted with the alumni's. The alumni and seniors are very well supportive. They will help you to cope with the first year issues.

To get admission in this college in BE course there is two options available it depends on whether you're a resident of Karnataka or outside Karnataka. If you're from Karnataka then you to give an examination called KCET thourough which on the basis of merit list you can get admitted in this college. And if you're from states other than Karnataka then you have to give an examination called COMEDK thourough which based on merit list or rank you will get admission in this college. Fees are higher for non-karnataka students.

The faculty of our college are pretty well qualified. Most of them are PHD holders and some of them are currently pursuing their PHD. But as a first yera student i could say that some of them will appreciate you for research work. And most of them just came in the class for their work done.
