Remarks

Good College having best placements. It has the second most placement in Kerala. An higher package of 44 lakhs per annum is the most package ever got for the student. The staffs and faculties are very experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is very chilled. We don't get pressure due to subjects. There is much time for lab activities and exams. The course structure is very good. A semester have a duration of 4-5 months and semester exam will last for more than one month providing enough gap between two consecutive exams.

Placement Experience

5

Good College having best placements. It has the second most placement in Kerala. An higher package of 44 lakhs per annum is the most package ever got for the student. The companies like Deloitte, ford ,Bosch, etc come for internships and placements.

College Events

5

The College has a well known technomanagorial fest called excel. It is conducted in November every year and it is the India's second techfest. In 2019 20 th edition of excel is conducted. It is open to all College students and school students and 2 lakh participation is minimum done. The next event is layatharang and chakravyuh. Layatharang is based on arts events and chakravyuh is based on sports events. Both are conducted in February simultaneously. The entire College is divided into 4 house and one senate. Senate Conduct both arts and sports and the 4 houses participate in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. Since it is a govt College but under the ownership of ihrd, students have to pay tution fees per year For merit - 35000 per year For management - 65000 per year For NRI- 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the College is under the government, we can apply for all govt scholarships. I now avail fee waiver scheme provided by the keam, so I didn't have to pay tution fees. Also the alumnis provide xsa scholarship to selected students from each class based on their academic excellence and annual income.

Campus Life

5

Labs have well features. The College also have a fablab where we can do every engineering works. The College has a large football ground,a basketball court, volleyball court, and a badminton court. Now a cricket net is also building.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. Alumni works for the juniors for their placements and also for infrastructure. This year they made an elevator for the College. They provide many works to College and supports junior students and teachers.

Admission

Admission is based on keam rank. A ranklist is made by the entrance team and they open a portal where we have to opt College and course according to our interest.and then according to the rank they will give each student admission to each College. I opted this College because this is a best College and have a well placement. I now study my first option subject itself. When the keam ilst came, I need to go to College and should assure my admission.

Faculty

5

The best faculty I have ever seen. The teachers and lab assistants are well educated. Most of them got doctorate in their subject. All are well experienced. And have very good teaching skills. They help students to learn nicely. They will mould all the students into best engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
