Future Institute of engineering and management is a good college overall, faculties and alumni being very helpful,with good placements.Well equipped labs with good machines that help students to learn more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is all right.It is not very much updated.New technologies should be introduced to the curriculum.Practical applications should be taught.New programming languages should be given more importance.
Placement Experience
Each student has multiple job offers.I am placed in two multinational companies cts and tcs.Many are also placed in Capgemini,wipro,epam,infosys.Capgemini and Cts were on campus.Rest were off campus.Recently western shipping visited our college.
College Events
Xplorica is the official techno management club of future Institute of engineering and management.It boasts of hosting the famous technical fest phoenix.Culrav is the official cultural club of the college.It hosts flames.
Fee Structure And Facilities
fee structure is very much feasible as it is much less than other colleges outside west bengal.The total course fee is around 3.36 lakh.The students have to pay this fee in eight semesters.So it is highly affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Firstly,i am myself a tuition fees waiver candidate.There are all total six tuition fees waiver candidates.We have to pay about one twelveth part of the total fees.Moreover if a student gets more than a particular cgpa then he or she can avail 50% scholarship.
Campus Life
sportivo is the official sports club of future Institute of engineering and management,i was also once a part of this club.This club hosts one of the most well known sports fest of the city that is vibgyor,in 1st year i participated in vibgyor.There are also seminars regarding sports.
Alumni/Alumna
very helpful alumni.they used to help us in placements,they have helped us get ready for the interviews,they have taught us the subjects that are asked in the interviews,they have also taught us questions that are asked in HR rounds,they have also taken mock interviews,etc.
Admission
I sat for west bengal joint entrance examination.I got a rank in wbjee and then filled up the counselling form where all the colleges are listed.Fiem was in number eleven and i got that.Then i waited for third round to complete and locked it up after that.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is extremely helpful.I have a research paper under my belt and that solely because of the help of the faculty.Extra classes are taken whenever students ask for it.Moreover students can personally visit any teacher to clear doubts.
