Good environment but lack facilities

Though the college is at very beautiful place and the fee is also nominal, but the quality of education is degrading. It can get improved by efforts, and hope it happens soon, but overall it is the most missed place.

Course structure is okay but it need modification according to new curriculum being followed in colleges, also the labs are also need to be improved so better studies can be conducted. Also it's a nice place as quite close to nature with very calm environment and scenery, fresh air. Everything is good but studies need to be focused more

That's also poor, hardly more than two companies visit the campus. And those too don't take much students, most of these are mass recruiters, so students can't get a job that justifies their profession.

Technical festival are not that much promoted but yeah cultural festival are. And that is the most joyful part of the year. So much to celebrate and enjoy. Technical festival is organized but it's quality is not as per required.

Fee structure is quite affordable, infact the best I say, tution fee is not much high and not even the hostel facility is expensive. It is just about 2000for one semester. And tution fee being 35000 per semester. Mess fee is 11000 per semester. But that's not much for an engineering college fee.

Merit scholarship is provided to top 6-7 students of class every year. And thAt is 5000 rupees, i also got that for three years, it's a good thing if students get rewarded for their efforts. It wAs good aat all.

Student activities were good at college, I was an active part of those activities and its quite fun doing that. Cultural societies, technical societies are very active in college but they don't get much support so can't gt flourished, still student keep practicing for better things.

Hostel and infrastructure are good from outside but their maintenance is not being done properly. Also hygiene is not maintained in hostel. It need maintenance and good investment to improve all this, then only something good can happen.

Alumni of college are supportive but I know only few of them,as alumni network is not maintained by college, whereas alumni outside college keep on conducting meet ups so as to get connected to college students, if they get support from college it can get better.

I got admission through my rank in jee exam which was around 1.5lakh and opted for civil engineering branch, but computer science and. Engineering is the best branch in college. After going for counselling through uttrakhand selecting of engineering students first we have to apply for that and then according to jee rank seats are alloted, then directly through counselling admission is completed.

It's not up to the mark, I think now new faculty is being introduced, still the system needs to be improved in this matter as it is related to future of students. Faculty selection criteria might get changed as it only helps to improve the quality, that is the much requirement of time.
