Remarks

I will give 8 out of 10 to the college. 1 morks for infrastructure and 1 marks for maintaining more discipline. Overall remarks is positive and I will always suggest you to study any course in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. Teachers and students co- operates each other in the research department. Labs exams are little bit easier than semester exams because lab teachers are very good in performing and teaching the experiments. The are 2 semester exams each year and 4 mid semester exams between them.

Placement Experience

Placements and jobs are very good. Each student who is eligible to sit and wants to get a job, must have a job in his hand. Some of them got multiple jobs. There is a placement cell who take cares the need of students regarding to the placement and help them a lot. No, college doesn't provide internship. You have to do internship from outside.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. 50000 RS per semester approx. Admission charge is 20, 000. According to the facilities provided the fee structure is very good and satisfactory. With respect to the other private colleges and jobs provided. fees us good.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans anr provided for any good business ideas. Make your idea and go to the finance department. If they got impressed or if they became interested about your idea. That's it. Loans for your business will yours to start your idea.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities provided by the college is available for each student who wants to participate. Cricket, football, badminton, chess, carrom, kabbadI and many more sports events like this are organised.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Seniors are helpful in every department. Personally I appreciate them because I have got a very awesome bunch of seniors. They respect us, they are familiar to us, they treat us like their younger brother. But as a junior, your responsibility is to respect them and does not cross your limits ever.

Admission

By the JEE MAINS rank. Admission process is quite easy. Firstly we have to set the college as preference then we have to select the desired order of preference of Branch. If you are eligible then you will get the seat. Then you have to report any given centre for registration with registration charges. Then admission process starts at college with admission charges and with 1st semester charges. Now you are all set to go to the college.

Faculty

Faculty is awesome. The co- operates is each and every department. They are like friends to us. More of the teachers are very much experienced and some of them are young too. So, there is a mixture of experience and boldness.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
