Course structure is very focused on research.Labs and exam was very chilled.I mean we are allow to do our own experiments whenever we want.There is a semester of 4 month so here we have to give exam for 3 times

They don't provide us the placement.But we have lots of option like going abroad for internship, internship in our own college. In college we are ask to do summer and winter project For summer project (from May to July ) scholarship is given to students with contingency For winter (only December ) Students can work on small projects.On the other hand student can contribute to any specific project all over the semester

"Insomnia" is the fest which our college used to celebrate.During fest Singers, comedian used to come.There are many events in which students from different colleges are allow to participate.There are dance competition where huge amounts of prizes are given

Fee structure is very feasible.I am from the batch of 2016 And also belong to schedule tribe(ST) so I have to pay 4100 in even semester and 7100 in odd semester for academic Where as for hostels and mess it's around 14000

There are two main scholarships which are given to students. 1) kvpy(Kishore vigyanik protsahn yojana) For this scholarship student have to give this(kvpy) exam before.Students of 11th to 1st year have permission to give this exam 2) INPIRE This scholarship is given by DRDO to the student studying in IISER MOHALI on the basis of merit

Gender ratio is 50:50 There are many clubs like science club, sports club, cultural activity club etc. Students are allow to express there views regarding everything they feel like. If you don't like something just write an application to Dean and problem will definitely be solved

This is an on campus University.every student even is ask to stay in campus.Even if the students home us nearby they are not allow to stay off campus till 5th year.There are sufficient rooms for students

College seniors are very helpful.We are not ask to say madam/sir to our seniors,they are more like our friends.If you are getting any problems regarding study or anything, so just ask any of senior,there are less than 0.1chances of saying NO.Theree is no case regarding ragging till now.

I really wanted to pursue my career as a scientist which makes me to choose this area.There are many courses like we can just join simple bsc but there we will not be able to experiment anything, moreover we need proper labs to do experiments with full safety.which is provided by IISER MOHALI

Faculty is very qualified to teach a particular course.Faculty is very interested.Eg if there are four lectures a week for a particular course so faculty will provide us 2 days of lecture 1 day of explaining the lab work of different area and the 1 days of tutorial.In tutorial,where we are allow to ask our questions
