My college experience

B.sc agriculture is 4 year degree course with 8 semester and M.Sc have 2 year with 4semester. Climate change is the major factor now a days. So the university as well as our research wing trying to overcome this problm by developing stree resistance crop which are growing in west bengal.

Mainly Agri based company come here for placement. The University Have a placement cell. After completing the b.sc many students who are economically weak mainly they goes on it. Syngenta,Monsanto, Tata Chemicals and many more companies comes to hire.

Every Year during November to December Annual Cultural Program Helds which are Organised By Students Union. On this occasion the students from different courses , different faculties come together to participate.

Feasible. University takes only 1300 rupees per semester for undergraduate and post graduate student. Which is very cheap But for PhD candidate it is little bit high l.e- 7000-14000 Phd Research scholar get 18000 scholarship per month.

Yes They Provide Scholarship but that is only for phd research candidate's. But for Ug and Pg students the university doesn't offer any scholarship or stipend. University doesn't provides any kind of assistance for loan.

No Sexual Discrimination were there. Our university students knows the Unity in diversity. In view of politics, Student Oriented politics were there. And i also support this kind of politics. Since my admission i have not seen any religious discrimination till now. Over all a very good environment were there for your mental development.

In last i must say google company to come here. Visit our faculty and our hostel our research filed.I am damm sure if you get any more chance to study here, you will get another pleasure in your life. Last but not least i must say "If Agriculture Dies the whole society will die". Have a good day with good food ?

Through indian council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) exam as well as though merit basis. Merit basis is only for West Bengal Candidate's. The university have three faculty i.e -Agriculture,Horticulture and Agriculture Engineering

As india is the 2nd most populated country after china and now a days food security and fullfillment of daily needed food is bit difficult because of seasonal pattern of crop are changing with climate change. Good Quality teacher as well as many scientists are there They teaches us how to solve this climatic changes as well as how to fulfill of our people's basic needs.
