Course Curriculum Overview

My course name electronics and telecommunication. and all exam pattern and structure is decided by Pune University (Savitribai Phule Pune University). Exam pattern is varying according subject and their importance measure by credit system

Placement Experience

I not experienced any placement and job experiences through college because Currently studying in First year of engineering. But I heard lots of placement offer in internal campus interview. Also college provide internship to the student who interested.

College Events

Our college biggest event is ashwamedh. It can be held in February. 100+ college participate in this sport and cultural event. And all Regular festival throughout the year is celebrated on grand scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college accredited by NAAC by A+ grade. From 2019. So the fee of college is increase. College fee for open catagory is 1, 50, 000 and I Have obc catagory so I have 80, 000 fees. College also provide TFWS facility

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college not provide but Maharashtra government provide an scholarship facility to student. They categorised the fee structure by their respective Cast. Like Open, obc, sc, st, vjnt etc. And this amount is directly send to your bank account through DBT

Campus Life

All the labs in college are well furnished and looks attractive. Also it have all the equipment which needs for student syllabus required. Senior students arrange party for junior students. obviously this is an engineering college so gender ratio is not good.

Alumni/Alumna

Many allumini visit the college every year. and they guide to student and also share their experiences to student. College seniors are so helpful. they give all information regarding colege, tacher staff, environment. etc

Admission

First We give Mh cet Engineering entrance exam. Then DTE arrange Admission process. and place merit list. this process is compulsory and conducted by a government of Maharashtra. For all Jee main and Mh cet students.

Faculty

Our college faculty is well educated and Also supportive to student. maximum college faculty are high educated and Ph. d holder. they know well the difficulties which students faced daily. College also divide students into two categories slow learner and advanced learner

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Admission: I had also applied for top colleges of Pune with tech related branches but the main reason I can't get their is due to high cutoff of colleges I had applied for top colleges like VIT Pune,PCCOE Pune ,PICT Pune ,D.Y.Patil Pune etc and through cap process depending on my percentile I get my current college AISSMS IOIT Pune and I confirmed for these I sorted the colleges depending on some parameter like last year cutoff, placement percentage, autonomous or not etc My college is in Maharashtra so around 80% of seats given to the students who are admitted through Maharashtra state entrance exam for engineering that is MHTCET and remaining 20% are seat are for candidates who admitted through JEE MAIN score so most students peffered MHTCET Exam for admission in our college The overall addmission process is like after declaration of result student make list of colleges and branches those he want to take that list is in a sequential manner then student had to upload that list on portal of MHTCET after 2-3 day result of that list comes and the college which is allocated seen to us then it depend on us that we want to confirm that college and branch or go for next round total 3 rounds are take place in that process and after confirmation of college reporting has been done offline to the college for final addmission process...Read More

Reviewing the journey up till now !!

I gave several exams and cracked them , but due to some or the other factor , I couldn't choose any other college. Due the ongoing CBSE boards, I couldn't register for MHTCET which is apparently a state exam for MAHARASHTRA . You can opt for different colleges in MAHARASHTRA after giving this exam.
