Remarks

The college is very strict for their discipline more than i need as i think, students find it difficult to live in the environment in start but they will bkend thereafter.

Entrance Preview

WBJEE, I got rank about 2500, i opt for this because its the best private college in the state and renowned as well.

Internships Opportunities

Summer internships are compulsory for computer science engineering (CSE) and information technology (IT) students of IEM but optional for electrical and civil engineering students. Every year about 220-240 students intern at such organisations as Microsoft, TCS, Cognizant, CESC, Tata Communications, Sankalp Semi Conductor, iVIZ Technologies, Cranes Software, HP, CMC Ltd and Dynamic Digital. Around 35-40 per cent of them received pre-placement offers this year.

Placement Experience

Actually our college is situated in the electronics complex of the city and we have several it companies all around us and our college has a good bond with them. Thats why our college holds 100% placement records every year.

College Events

We have technical, cultural fest every year and manytimes our college helds seminars about some important and necessary issues. We had seminars about spiritualism and science, manytimes we are arranged a refreshment sessions where we are exposed with some significant psychological issues.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is obviously feasible. Its the standard rate of nits as per i know, and instead of being a private college, the fee structure is very much feasible which is about 38000 per semester.

Sorry but our college personally don't provide any scholarship, its the board through we get admission through examination has a provision for scholarships i.e wbut.

Campus Life

Once you get inside the college, you will see that discipline have a uniform and there is humble and ready to help people are all around you. We do have fest in wich we present our robotics skill, We have robotics workshop every year in our college, they are excellent, debates are held as well.

Hostel Facilities

Actually i never lived in my college hostel, i live in a pg near the college, but as much i heard from my friends that the hostels management is ok but the food is the thing u will have to cope with. So i would suggest anyone targeting for this college to

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. Review of My IEM University

When I was searching for the best college to get the admission, some people told me to try for Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) and after I got admitted to this college, I really understood that I selected the right college. I will always prefer this college because discipline is strictly obeyed in IEM and all the teachers are like parents. In 2019, admission was going on offline and it was held around the month of July. This year, due to covid pandemic, the admission process was held around the month of October and from 2nd November, online education started for the first year batch. According to me, the one and only bad aspect is that every semester, Rs. 65,000 is to be paid by each and every student to continue with their education which is quite high according to me.
