Remarks

I really like the aura of the college and everything related to the premise. There are certain parameters on which we use to look on the positive side of life as well as in our career. Along with this the college do helps the students to foster the students to know and engage in the idea of getting a good quality education.

Course Curriculum Overview

The subjects were good an vast. Apart from this the subjects I learned and explored were more inclined towards the technicality and engineering stuff in the field of agriculture. Thus, it was very interesting and creative. Along with this we also had practical sessions.

Placement Experience

Every student has this though of getting placed in a good organization and works with a good salary. The college promotes placement cell and many of the time well and good organizations come for the hiring process and offer a good position.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My yearly fee was approximately Rs 6000/- and in total, I paid Rs 12,000/-. which is very less as the facilities and perks provided by the college are much more than I expected. I am quite satisfied with the fee structure.

Campus Life

We had a cool resourceful central library where we use to read and issue the books and references for the examination purpose. Apart from this, the college also had a cheap store for the students to get their day to day things at a very cheaper rate.

Admission

I applied just after meeting the rank I secured in the WBJEE exam. The college had their own rank list set so after meeting the criteria I was called by the college admission department for the final submission of my documents.

My professors were amazing. Their teaching and lecture methods were very interesting and we never felt bored while studying. The usage of audiovisual aids and Projectors and practical sessions were good.

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
