If you want to be a better human you should be here. This campus not only teach me subjects from my stream but it teaches me about moral values.It also teaches me not to differentiate between two human in terms of class, region or economy. To get a life you should try it atleast once.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its a semester wise exam structure which took place in a span of 6 months.Its a branch which is equivalent to civil engineering. Placement scenario not so good now a days. Every year around 60% students get placed.
Placement Experience
Placement & job opportunity was quite impressive previous years. But as of now current conditions of construction indusry is not so good. That affected the placement too. However every department have one number of placement coordinator who helps to organise a placement event.
College Events
Freshers - CIIPPUS These are for department like construction, it, instrumentation, printing& power. U-Turn(tech fest) Various kind of technical events like science project, robotics held here. Sanskriti(fest) Renowned artists from different corners of India come here to perform in OAT(open air theatre). The atmosphere is electrifying.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very much economical fee structure. State run university. It has a very low fees which can bearable by every economical class like from a buisness tycoon's son to a farmers son everyone have equal rights within the campus.There are no difference in regional classes too.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scolarship given for tution fees to poor class background. Almunus foundation also give scolarship to the students with poor economical background but have a good academic result.Mess committee of hostel also consider hostel fees for poor students.
Campus Life
Sports events organized by committee every year department wise. Cricket, football & indoor games like carom, cards, chess played department wise. Hostel committee also organise floorwise tournaments in different occasions.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, Hostel facilities are economical & have a large number of basic facilities. Hostel contains a messing facilities supervised by mess committee run by students. Have internet connection. Also have a ground inside. Gym & indoor game facilities are there.
Alumni/Alumna
Almunus network is very strong. They are very helpful. Provide scolarship to poor students who had a good academic activities. Also alumnus organised a Football Ekadoshi every year which will played by various generation of alumnus.
Admission
I have a diploma in civil engineering. Then I appeared for JELET. Got a rank 10 & civil branch rank is 3 within westbengal. After counciling get admitted.Its a lateral entry b. Tech course. The duration of the course is 3 years.
Faculty
All the faculties are good, very much cooperative with students.Every faculty have their specalities & they made a good communication with students in any kind of adverse situation. Teachers also have a good quantity of humour.
