Jadavpur University

Ok so basically Jadavpur University is offering us the lowest fees I have ever heard. I have already paid 5000 for seat acceptance which covers also semister fees for two years. And 710 for admission. In case of hostel fees like I not sure but I heard it 25/ month. It has no own scholarship but most of the student get government and private scholarships, university help us to get easier.

Jadavpur University gives the most affordable engineering course on the entire planet, its merely 12000 rupees for 4 long years whereas IITs charge 12 lakh and NITs charge 7-8 lakh for 4 years Btech course but the ROI of Jadavpur University is a massive 110% As I am domiciled in west Bengal and study in a state-funded university I get a 60000 rupees scholarship per annum which is known as Swami Vivekananda Merit cut Means Scholarship.

Will you believe that the fee for persuing engineering in JU (except B.TECH in IT, fees =30,000 total) is 12,000 only (for 4 years). Yeah, it is. The semester fee is 42 rupees only. This is why ju is ju and there is a scholarship program for students ( whose annual income is under the said limit).

It is Asia's cheapest university where you have to just pay 2500 Rs for a year and 10000 for 4 years. That to will be removed if you are from a poor family. Your fees will be halved and again if you have good rank you will get a scholarship which means you are not investing any amount but earning that to for studying.

I'm pursuing BE in Construction Engineering, which is almost Civil Engineering. Teachers are highly educated and their teaching methodology is remarkable. Students, here in JU, get placed after four years or go for higher studies.

There are a lot of good scholarships. For pupils who come from a economically poor background get 80000 rupees two times during their graduations. There are scholarships on merit also. People who score good CGPAs are given scholarships.

Scolarship given for tution fees to poor class background. Almunus foundation also give scolarship to the students with poor economical background but have a good academic result.Mess committee of hostel also consider hostel fees for poor students.

One of the India's best University

College does provides scholarships only for those students whose annual family income less than ?60k. For very poor students the fee for semester and hostel is Nil. They don't take any penny from students through his/her academic years.

Again Jadavpur university provides something you gotta love about,dean scholarship, alumni association scholarship,FFE(40000/YEAR),zindal, there are other scholarship also for SC and ST students,I had CBSE BOARD percentage of 88 and WBJEE rank 1659 ,i was not eligible for FFE because i didn't satisfy the first criterion which is above 90%in CBSE Board, although i had satisfied 2nd criterion which is rank under 2000 in wbjee
