Remarks

Yeah, There is one negativity in our college that I feel is that in our college the placement is very limitied according to the number of student, there is huge competition in our college. If you are in college socities than most of the time your time is gone in socities activities but one advantage for that is you will get attendence for that.

Exam structure is subjectiveand helds twice every year. 25% is internal assesment(Test and practicles) and theory is 75% where 8-9 question comes in every exam and we have to attempt 5 question one question is for 15 marks.

Admission

I got my admission on the basis of my 12th marks in first cutoff of Delhi University. To get the admission in the DU. Every course has there own criteria of admission. If you want to take admission in BMS,BBA,B.ed etc. course that candidate has to give entrance exam. The rest remains courses such as BA,B.sc,B.com,B.voc admission is based on merit the list. To get admission we have to register on the DU admission portal which releases their admission between may-June then after filling the form we have to first wait till the cut off out. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding course curriculum, I am not satisfied the additional courses like SAC, VAC, AEC have no purpose, they are just a headache which makes it difficult for students to focus on the main subjects, although I am in favour of GE subjects. The marking scheme of 90 marks written paper and 70 marks for internal is also great. Apart from this talking about political science honours curriculum, I will say it is pretty great, there are difficult concepts and bulky material to study from but it could be improved by reducing the weight/ pressure put up by other subjects- sec,vac...

Companies visit are often at our college like Deloitte, wipro , Infosys , KPMG etc but options are wide only for commerce background students they are limited for arts faculty students like me. Highest package is about 6 to 7 lpa while most of the package ranges between 4 to 6 lpa percentage of students getting are average and they are mostly from comm letce and economic or business background. I would go for journalism and choose IIMC for my master's.
